The Paris Eteranl, London Spitfire, and Boston Uprising performed admirably at the preseason tournament and changed a lot of fans' preseason rankings after seeing them play. Black Lives Matter. It's as simple as that. We begin this episode by discussing the recent uprising in response to the murder of George Floyd. However, this issue didn't start with Floyd. Unfortunately, for as long as there have been police they have abused their power, particularly against Black people, to uphold systemic oppression. The May Melee came and went, our boys Shock won the NA division, we had one of the craziest finals ever in the APAC region and Vancouver looked...competent!! This week's episode of The Scrapyard we enter our new series Hindsight Is 2020 with a retrospective on the legendary Runaway vs. Kongdoo Panthera grand finals match from Overwatch Korea Contenders Season 2. This game is basically a battle of two teams that would become the Vancouver Titans and season 2 Shanghai Dragons. An emotional spiritual conclusion to the Apex era is an 8 map classic that has some interesting parallels to what happened in Overwatch League Season 2. It was a great game to look back on!
