QB's play a huge roll in making great receivers . Is AB a GREAT receiver without #7 ? Don't think so. He is "good with lots of potential. How about playaction with a #36 or 22 or even Mr.Warren, it buys you that half second. Potential now becomes greatness. we have a "potential star" in Austin - one of the fastest in NFL. So do we need a 25 million dollar receiver or a rookie/FA center and a few dogs on OL and corner. oh and that 25 million gets you 1 year OR 3 dogs on rookie deals for 4 years.
You think Patterson had a pen in his hand in Pittsburgh waiting for the new kickoff rule to be ratified ? This semi -quiet signing will prove to be , along with resigning Killibrew, the move that makes our Special teams top 3 if not #1 in the league.
The Steelers will prove to be the best team that Russ has played on. If team stays realitivly healthy a 7th Lombardi will go in the case.
