I am so glad I’ve found this podcast - thank you for hosting it!! Also, I just want to thank the woman being interviewed for this episode and the courage to speak out about your vaginismus. I too have vaginismus, and it is so refreshing to hear someone talk so candidly and openly about it. You have given me new ways to think about my situation, and I appreciate your positive outlook. I must admit, in my situation, it is especially difficult as I have been married for 5 years and we would very much like children, so we are currently undergoing fertility treatments because of my inability to have penetrative intercourse. Of course, we would like to consummate our marriage as well, but your viewpoint on sex being defined as more than just penetration has helped me realize that I’m much more than just a woman who “can’t have sex” and that sex has many meanings.
