Description

If you’re a Catholic entrepreneur who can’t turn off the pressure, feel guilty when you rest, and beat yourself up over every mistake — this podcast is for you.

Each episode helps Catholic men quiet the inner critic, regulate their nervous system, and learn to rest without guilt. The work is grounded in neuroscience, Ignatian spirituality, and self-compassion — built for men who are tired of being the harshest person in their own life.

This is goal:

Move from self-critical and stressed → calm, clear, and self-assured.

Scott Ste Marie holds an MSc in Neuroscience, Psychology & Mental Health from King’s College London and draws from his own journey through depression and anxiety. He has coached hundreds of men privately and in groups since 2019.

When we overthink, first we need to get specific about what thoughts are bothering us. Thinking only positive, reassuring thoughts wouldn't be an issue, right? So what we're really dealing are negative thoughts and rumination over a specific area of our life. Try this exercise with me to settle the mind and become aware of the thought factory.
Guys who are really hard on themselves and have a strong inner critic can actually get really far in life, but it's exhausting. I was motivated by my inner critic my entire life. I asked this simple question though "Is it really success is there's no inner peace and joy?" When you change your inner dialogue, your entire life changes. I totally understand that the negative self talk can be motivating and push us to accomplish, succeed and change. That only lasts so long though. In this video I discuss another way to motivate yourself and change the relationship you have with you. 👉 Ready to stop being so hard on yourself? Brother, your entire life changes when you do.
