Laci’s Croton watch was also missing and has never been found. A Croton watch matching the description of Laci’s watch was pawned at a local pawn shop a week after her disappearance. The woman who pawned the watch was associated with the men who were arrested for the burglary that occurred across the street the morning Laci went missing.
Scott and Amber met a month before Laci’s disappearance and they only saw each other 4 times. Based on the prosecution’s case- he started planning Laci’s murder after the 2nd time he saw her. Not believable which is why the prosecution didn’t present Amber as a motive.
