Description

In 2016, Christian Ruvalcaba, Cody Hall, and Brian Perez started recording themselves talking and the rest was history. Their hour-ish long podcast, known as “The Wanger Show”, quickly became and continues to be the #1 podcast (according to us) on the Schmoes Know iTunes feed. Their popularity has skyrocketed but their egos have been kept in check. Well, except for Brian. That guy’s out of control. Together, the guys continued to collaborate on various short films and sketches while remaining the BEST of friends. Maybe not the best of friends. They’re friends. Well, they’re more acquaintances.

Hey everybody! Look, things are weird. Everyone's pissed off. People are pretending to know how ratings for late night talk shows are measured. The rapture is happening tomorrow. Our President's hand is falling off. The Buccaneers are 3-0 and NO ONE seems to want to talk about that. I mentioned the freaking RAPTURE in this description and it didn't even get top billing. It's all weird right now, and we don't know what the hell to talk about. But we're here. So are you. Let's have a fun program tonight and try to laugh about things again.
Hey! Welcome back to our show. TONIGHT, we have stuff to talk about. I think. This past week wasn't crazy at all, right? In other news, the Emmys were last night, there were movies that we watched and movies that we didn't, and the Buccaneers are playing a football game right before this episode goes live so if Cody's happy or pissed off, you'll know why.
Hi! It's a new week here at the Wanger Show and we are TIRED. But fear not! Last night was another epic installment of Wangers Karaoke and the gang's all here to recap everything. This is always one of our favorite episodes to do each year and we're glad to have you with us! Watch this year's Wangers Karaoke here: https://youtube.com/live/TpjpXb-tcSc?feature=share

TONIGHT, Wangers Karaoke is less than a week away so we're going to contact each and every one of you individually to see if you're going. Also, Christian finally accomplished the herculean task of beating Death Stranding 2, there's like nothing happening in movies or TV, and YOU KNOW WHAT almost happened the other day.
Hey! How's it going? Welcome to the show! TONIGHT, it's another installment of the Cody and Christian Lounge. What does that entail? Absolutely nothing. It just means it's Cody and Christian on the show. What are they gonna talk about in said lounge? I don't know, but Alien: Earth is cool, we don't know what KPOP Demon Hunters is and at this point we're too scared to ask, Cody watched another old movie, Christian has a game, and it's very very hot outside.

TONIGHT, our buddy Remsen is back! Normally he's filming our stuff and making it look good but today he's gonna be on camera. We all saw Weapons and we all loved it so we're probably gonna spend a good chunk of this episode talking about that.

TONIGHT, Ken Napzok returns. This man is on a mission to become our most frequent guest. RB3, Eric, and Alex are SHAKING in their boots. Do people still wear boots? Bit of a dumb question, I suppose. Plenty of areas in the country have that western vibe going on. What about spurs on the boots? Are those still a thing? Not that anyone asked, but I always found walking in boots to be incredibly difficult. Like, is the human body meant to be restricted that much with our calves and whatnot when walking? Then there's the whole other thing with putting the boots on and taking them off. You gotta like arch your foot downward like a ballet dancer to get em on. I'd imagine someone's broken an ankle or something trying to do this with a fresh pair of stiff boots. And what's our take on clothing with boots? Are those a pants/jeans only situation? Do shorts ever look good with boots in a non-ironic way? I wonder if it's similar to how Converse shoes don't really look great with shorts even though they ride higher up past the ankle. Is that just a me thing, though? I loved wearing Converse but I always felt weird pairing those with shorts. But then it felt like a waste to put jeans over the top of them because then it's like, what's the point, you know? You gotta show off that top half of the shoe. You ever seen someone wear Converse, shorts and high socks? That's a whole other ball game. What kind of socks does one wear with Converse? What kind of socks does one wear with boots? I'd imagine you'd have to have a thick pair of socks with boots because the interior of those boots can't be very cushiony. I don't know if Vans still does this but I have an older pair of your standard black and white swiggly Vans that were labeled as "extra cush." I bought them partly for the bit of it all but I gotta say, that cush has come in really clutch. There are not a single pair of boots out there that can help me dismount from this YouTube description. Anyway, please come to Wangers Karaoke. There might be boots.

TONIGHT, Christian's back from Comic-Con, Cody's back from Las Vegas, and Brian's back from....wherever he was the last 10 episodes of the pod. Let's laugh about stuff.

TONIGHT, Coldplay is out here exposing CHEATERS, Death Stranding 2 is still consuming our lives, we might have a game or two to play, Cody might have a ghost story, and the Angels are only 4 games out of a wild card spot but the liberal media doesn't wanna talk about that.
Hey! Welcome back to the show! We got a good one tonight. Eric Striffler and Scott Cramer are joining the program. They have a live Pretty Much It DCOM tour coming up so if you wanna laugh you should definitely get tickets for that (Link is just a few lines down here in the description. Don't be scared, it's not that far down). They're not the only ones with a live show though...because TONIGHT we're also announcing the date for WANGERS KARAOKE VOL. 6!!!
