An introduction: who I am, the importance of learning how to learn and the structure of this podcast.
This episode analyses the choice of learning what you love and the strategies to sustain this love. The choice is analysed by the 5 question whys to be more reasonable about our subject area. The strategies include (1) broad then the deep views and  (2) the urgency to creating.
The first part of episode unpacks the where-do-I-begin question of writing or the universal writing drama which is somehow similar to the troubles accumulating our minds from the unexamined thoughts. The second part discusses the elements of academic writing and factors influencing the readability of the text.
This episode provides 2 approaches to increase your personal impact in speaking including (1) Aristotle’s 3 principles of persuasion (Ethos, Logos, Pathos)and (2) Christine Clapp’s 5 strategies in confidence public speaking (Stance, Sound, Smile, Sight, Silence).
This episode is about ways of reading and writing to utilise what we read in writing and what we write in reading. It also develops 9 thinking behaviours in reading and writing with corresponding questions and examples.
