In time for that post-Thanksgiving crash, Naama attempts to retrieve something tasty, as per popular demand, by “chadfishing”: the practice of creating fake dating app profiles (generally with photos of classically attractive men, or “Chads”) in order to trick people (generally women) seeking romantic or sexual connections. It’s basically catfishing, but the purpose is to expose or understand the different treatment toward would-be suitors based on physical appearance. Traditional chadfishing has been done enough, so Naama creates three other profiles for INCEL: one female, one male in his late 30s, and one in his early 20s, on three different apps. This is a fun episode for the holiday, so it’s not too heavy! Chads and Stacys, and red pills and black pills, and incels and normies and cucks, oh my. Maybe you’ve heard these words before and wondered what they meant. Just beneath the boundaries of polite society, is an entire world that most of us will never even see: the shadow world of the involuntary celibate community, where young men from across the globe find each other... for better or worse. Are you game? I’m Naama Kates, the host and creator of INCEL, and this podcast is an excavation. We go deep, and sometimes dark. We meet some incredible people. But you will not leave this journey the same person you were before you started. So be forewarned. He is also the subject of 2016 independent documentary entitled, "Accidental Courtesy: Daryl Davis, Race & America." Schoep served as commander of the NSM, "America's largest neo-Nazi organization," for over 20 years before stepping down and publicly denouncing the movement in March of 2019. Fear not, dear listeners, we’re still not through with our exploration into the latest news in the incelosphere, but new groundbreaking interviews are just now being recorded. So today’s episode is a real treat, one that is long overdue: today Naama speaks with Mike Crumplar (@mcrumps), a writer and intellectual whose approach to inceldom is uniquely literary and beautiful. Hello world! On this (very late) episode of INCEL, Naama sits down with Kamikaze to discuss the seldom discussed issue of sexual fetishes and fantasies that grow to become sources of shame or frustration, and can turn into roadblocks to actual dating and relationships. Kamikaze doesn't really associate with inceldom in too many ways, other than, well... just being an incel, which is always an important and interesting point of view. This episode delves into a lot of mature sexual themes with a fair amount of candor, so while there's no official trigger warning this week, it's definitely NSFW. "People complain about the venomous comments on [incel subreddits], but, if you go to any other sub, you'll see the same thing." (paraphrased) This has a decided whiff of intellectual dishonesty, but this is my first time listening so am willing to give her another try. This statement completely glosses over and minimizes the kind of violent, disturbingly misogynistic content that gets posted on those forums. It's not mere trolling, it's hate speech that targets and dehumanizes a specific population, and it is NOT unique to misogyny. Expressions of contempt for women as well as the widespread enabling of their sexual exploitation for men's benefit are so incredibly prevalent in our society that even the female host of this podcast has become numb to it. If the hate speech these men are routinely employing were instead said about, say, black or Asian people, any site that allowed it to be published would have been deplatformed in a heartbeat - and rightly so. Misogyny is hate speech, an

Where exactly are the studies this dude is referencing? Sounds like a blanket of circumstancial evidence going unchallenged. I enjoyed the first few episodes of this cast, but it's getting a lot harder to listen to. Less blind agreement, more follow up questions please!! Bring some of your own social research to the table, perhaps.

This episode gave me chills. "Polite" society doesn't seem to realize their role in the creation of extremists. Any time you have a group of lonely people lacking direction or a sense of belonging (especially men), there is going to be a major issue. As terrifying as it is, it's also very sad.

The number of victims resulting from the extremists are part of the reason why the general public cannot sympathize with incels. The inability of male incels to believe that females can also be incels is part of the reason why femcels cannot stand male incels. The dehumanization of women is why most women cannot sympathize with male incels. A dialogue is hard to have when these men are not open to criticism or a change of opinion. This podcast is interesting, but it doesn't offer any solutions. It only allows another open forum for incels to complain and blame others for problems that branch from their own issues or failures.

I have to admit that as a true crime junkie, I started listening hoping for the salacious details of this community, but am pleasantly surprised that that's not the direction of this pod. In a society where so many people feel disconnected and lonely, I appreciate the fresh approach - trying to understand perspectives different from ours (perhaps) in an attempt to unify, rather than divide humanity. The last interview in particular opened my eyes to the fact that there are a lot of intelligent, educated individuals in the Incel community, and that if you have any compassion at all (and a few brain cells to rub together), this pod provides a balanced discussion that is sorely needed. Keep going!

Initially Inwas so excited about this podcast. The trailer promised hard hitting questions and insight into the community. Instead we get pandering long form stream of consciousness interviews with people holding a bad Skype connection. I was going to unsubscribe to this podcast after the last episode but we were teased this response episode. We did not get a response to the criticism. This is a pity party, completely lacking self awareness and completely defensive. "it's my podcast and I get to make the calls" the host says as an explanation to her reasoning for decisions- bulldozing past any constructive criticism. This whole series is a waste of time and a platform for hateful extremists. Spend your time somewhere more worthwile.
