Red Bull Raise The Bar is happening Thursday 21st March at Gorilla. The series sees eight MCs from respective cities invited to battle in front of a live audience. The unique format challenges MCs to showcase their skills across various tempos, including rap, grime, and drill beats.
The audience is also key at this rap cypher as MCs will need to win over the live-voting crowd to progress to the final round and prove they can ‘raise the bar’.
Celebrating the rich tapestry of talent within the local music scene, eight up-and-coming MCs from Greater Manchester have been handpicked to battle it out on stage, each bringing their own unique style and flair to the cypher.
The Manchester edition will also be joined by special guest DJs providing energy and tracks for qualifying MCs to battle at each round, and hosted by the city’s creative personality Faro.
