After a couple of weeks off, the weird and wacky stuff had really banked-up. And yup, we couldn't fit these bad boys into our Friday show.
Weirdness a plenty on this edition of the Extra Butter Podcast as we chat about a woman from Switzerland who is renting out a tent on her balcony for $800 per month; a new study has revealed that those who consumed five or more glasses of red wine per week were 17% less likely to be at risk from COVID-19 (cheers); a US Lab is freezing bodies in the hope of bringing them back to life; and a woman has publicly called out her date for asking her to send him money for a coffee he bought her...ouch!

In the final episode for season 2 and for the year, we look at some of the more unusual traditions from around the world at Christmas time, including the horned, hairy beast from Austria who snatches misbehaving kids in his wicker basket; those crazy Ukraines who swap fairy lights for spider webs; The Pooper and Pooping Log from Catalonia; and those 'finger-licking' Japanese who love themselves some Colonel every Christmas Eve!
In this cocktail-infused episode we discussed some extra weird and wacky events of the past week, including the Camels disqualified from a beauty pageant after botox injections; a report that suggests dogs can understand 89 words on average; Monopoly have issued a 'boardgame etiquette' decree to prevent tempers flaring this Christmas; and the bomb experts who raced to a hospital after a patient arrived with an artillery shell in his bottom.
No shortage of the weird and wacky on this weeks' podcast, as we discussed, (over drinks of course), the surgeon who has been fined more than $5,000 after amputating the wrong leg from one of their patients; the Iranian model who claims a sex doll company has turned her into a racy figurine; the woman who wasn’t kitten around when she whipped out her breasts and started feeding her hairless cat on a Delta flight; and Pillow fighting which is entering the world of combat sports!
