Here it is... at long last... the last official cut of Stallone! The Suicide Squad is a strange Stallone movie to end on because he's barely in it. This is also a strange movie to end on because the brothers famously hate superhero movies. However: this James Gunn directed DC movie has a lot going for it! It is a fun romp. This is a very fun and funny episode full of a lot of laughs. Definitely not an episode to miss! The show will be going on a hiatus very soon as we prepare for the our next season Planet Bruce! Rambo: Last Blood is a racist abomination. It completely takes a massive dump on the nuance, political implications, social commentary of the first film. It's extremely offensive to the character of Rambo. It displays a level of ignorance unmatched by even the most djangoistic sequels. It is fitting that this film was made and released during Trump's presidency. It seems to live in that ethos. As with all movies the brothers try to find the positive, but mostly are massively bummed out by this film. We hope you enjoy our discussion of this abomination. Grudge Match is a weird drunken idea that got made into a movie. Literally some dudes were sitting around talking about if Raging Bull or Rocky would win in a match as old dudes. Then they put some weird 2013 puppet CGI faces in there..and you've got yourself a movie. Great underutilized cast. A general disappointment. But it was not a uniform experience. Aleks enjoyed this movie much more than Milenko did. Which always makes for an interesting and compelling dynamic in the conversation. Bullet To The Head is not a movie the brothers liked. It is a weird Walter Hill movie from 2012. The movie kind of plays out like an episode of prime time television. Very bizarre. The brothers use this late season episode to dig into the mythos of Stallone in popular culture pulling heavily from a CBC - Q interview with Stallone by Tom Power.
