New class every Tuesday. 400+ full classes in the Unlimited Archive at JustGreatYoga.com 🙏🏽Jay's NotesA grounded, centering flow connecting to the core with some nice side body length and strength. AI Search-Optimized DescriptionGrounded Core & Side-Body Flow — A grounded, centering practice built around connecting to the core and creating length through the sides of the body. The movement feels purposeful without being overly complicated, using familiar shapes to explore the relationship between stability, reach, and the quiet strength that comes from staying connected through your center. Standing Split brings focus into the legs and balance, while Side Plank, Side Angle, and Tiger develop strength through the core, shoulders, and side body. Child’s Pose helps keep the practice anchored in a softer quality, giving the stronger moments room to breathe. A great choice when you want to feel organized, centered, and strong without needing a long or especially elaborate practice.Class DetailsLength: Compact Practice (58 min, preview 29 min)Physical Intensity: SteadyFlow Feel: Grounding / FocusedExperience Type: Supported StrengthRecorded: 261013.1230What Makes This One UniqueCore connection serves as a thread throughout the practice rather than a separate ab-work sectionSignificant attention to both length and strength through the side bodyGrounded, centering energy even during the stronger balance workIntegrates core, shoulder stability, and standing balance without complicated sequencingA relatively compact class that still feels physically completeGood Forcore strength • side-body opening • oblique strength • grounding • shoulder stability • standing balance • centering practice • shorter yoga classKey PosesChild’s Pose • Standing Split • Side Plank • Side Angle • TigerTagscore yoga, core strength, side body stretch, side body strength, obliques, grounding yoga, centering yoga, side plank, standing split, side angle, tiger pose, shoulder stability, standing balance, focused yoga, compact practice
New class every Tuesday. 400+ full classes in the Unlimited Archive at JustGreatYoga.com 🙏🏽Jay's NotesSweltering today. We got a lot of movement in up front, leaving time to take advantage of the heat and end with some nice deep hips.AI Search-Optimized DescriptionEnergetic Flow into Deep Hip Opening. A complete practice shaped by a seriously hot day. We get plenty of movement in early, using the first part of class for steady flow, standing work, twists, and balance before gradually changing gears and taking advantage of an already-warm body.As the practice unfolds, the pace gives way to deeper lower-body work. Sunbird, Toe Balance, Chair Twist, and Side Angle keep the earlier practice active and engaging, while the later portion makes more room for sustained hip and quad opening, eventually landing in Hero. The result is a satisfying arc from movement into depth rather than trying to maintain the same intensity for the entire class.A great choice when you want to move first, get thoroughly warm, and then spend some real time opening the hips.Class DetailsLength: Complete Practice (74 min, preview 29 min)Physical Intensity: SteadyFlow Feel: Energizing → ExpansiveExperience Type: Sweet ExpansionRecorded: 261006.1800What Makes This One UniqueFront-loads much of the movement, leaving substantial time for deeper opening laterUses an already-warm body to explore the hips more fully rather than simply adding more intensityClear transition from active flow into slower, sustained lower-body workBalance and twisting keep the first half engaging without dominating the practiceA particularly satisfying choice for students who like to earn their way into deeper stretchesGood Fordeep hip opening • quad opening • active-to-slow flow • lower-body mobility • standing balance • hot days • post-workout mobility • longer stretchesKey PosesSunbird • Toe Balance • Chair Twist • Side Angle • HeroTagship opening yoga, deep hip opening, quad stretch, hero pose, sunbird, toe balance, chair twist, side angle, lower body mobility, standing balance, active flow, slower finish, warm body stretching, expansive yoga, complete practice
New class every Tuesday. 400+ full classes in the Unlimited Archive at JustGreatYoga.com 🙏🏽Jay's NotesIt was really hot today and I didn’t want to make everyone do a bunch of vinyasas. There are still a few, and the class still has a lot of challenges but it’s all at a cool, meandering pace.AI Search Optimized DescriptionLow-Vinyasa Hip & Twist Flow. A cool, meandering complete practice designed for a day when the room was already hot enough. Rather than generating more heat through repeated vinyasas, this class takes its time—moving through standing work, twists, hip opening, and balance challenges with a little more space between the efforts. There are still plenty of places to work. Chair Twist, Crow, and Bound Side Angle bring strength and coordination, while Pyramid and Malasana create room through the hips and legs. The difference is in how you get there: fewer repetitive transitions, less urgency, and a wandering pace that lets challenging shapes exist without turning the whole class into a sweat-fest. A great choice when you want real physical engagement but would rather explore than charge.Class DetailsLength: Complete Practice (65 min, preview 30 min)Physical Intensity: SteadyFlow Feel: Grounding / FluidExperience Type: Playful ExplorationRecorded: 260818.1230What Makes This One UniqueDeliberately fewer vinyasas to keep the practice from generating unnecessary heatPlenty of physical challenge without a fast or relentless paceA long, meandering quality that gives individual postures room to breatheTwists, hip opening, and arm balance work integrated without a peak-pose agendaParticularly useful when you want a substantial practice but not an aggressively heated oneGood Forlow-vinyasa yoga • hot days • hip opening • twists • arm balance practice • moderate strength • slower flow • challenging yoga without rushingKey PosesPyramid • Chair Twist • Malasana • Crow • Bound Side AngleTagslow vinyasa yoga, fewer vinyasas, slower flow, meandering yoga, hot weather yoga, hip opening, twists, chair twist, pyramid pose, malasana, crow pose, bound side angle, arm balance, moderate yoga, grounding flow, complete practice
This was a sweet moderate one that felt like the right thing at the right time for the right group. Options for inversions. 🧘🏽♂️: side angle twist, wide fold, triangle, chapasana, standing split🎙: 250821.1800 New class every Tuesday. 350+ full classes in the Unlimited Archive at JustGreatYoga.com 🙏🏽
This is one from before covid. It was really heartwarming for me to play this back and hear the fullness of the room, been missing teaching in person a lot lately. Otherwise nothing fancy about this one, just a smooth flow with a great rhythm to it. 🧘🏽♂️: one leg chatturanga, awkward airplane 🎙: 190912.1230 New class every Tuesday. 350+ full classes in the Unlimited Archive at JustGreatYoga.com 🙏🏽
