Description

WSW is a podcast that began with the feature of a worship song that speaks to me each week. However, it is gradually growing into a platform that shares the worship story of anyone who is bold to share how God has been faithful and how a particular worship song motivated, inspired, and encouraged them through a season.

I hope that the stories and testimonies shared on this podcast will be a blessing to you and encourage you to worship beyond songs but use the songs as a springboard to leading a life of worship.

Please Subscribe to stay connected and share as well.

Happy Sunday Fam,  Hope you've had a great day so far? So on the show today I go solo. And yes I shared the story behind my song I WILL GET THERE. Do you ever wonder if you will get there? What does THERE look like to you? If you are sure of what it looks like, are you pressing on to getting there? Or are you allowing the pressures and the challenges dissuade you?  I am here to encourage you that you should never give up. God has got you covered. The fact that it's not been an easy journey does not mean that God has abandoned you, He is ever-present with you and He is grooming you for the great plans that He has for you. Be encouraged today and keep hope alive. Tell yourself I WILL GET THERE.  If you are yet to follow me on social media you definitely should cos WSW is going Live on YouTube and updates will be available on my Instagram page during the week.  Connect with me now on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/ejiroosakede/ Subscribe to my YouTube Channel now- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc0j7XCq_ndtUMXCExCj2Kw Have your most amazing week yet. “Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are our own fears.” — Rudyard Kipling Welcome to today's episode of WSW Season four where we get to share the story behind a song. Today we feature @Nikkypebbles who recently released her debut song 15years after writing the song. She stated fear was one of the reasons she didn't do it. After several painful crises, God kept her alive. No better time than now to agree that She is a miracle as much as God is her miracle.  Be inspired by her story and know that no matter what you might be going through God is always near and He is mighty to save.  You can listen to the full song HERE  OR  Watch it HERE Connect with her on Instagram via https://www.instagram.com/nikkypebbles/ Connect with me via https://www.instagram.com/ejiroosakede/ You can also subscribe to my YouTube channel HERE Have a lovely week.  --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ejiro-osakede/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ejiro-osakede/support

First of all, I give all the glory to my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, who is at work in me both to will and to do of His great pleasure. I am grateful for the grace and strength to keep going even in the face of several oppositions and life's negating circumstances.  Next, I want to thank YOU. Yes, you reading this text and also taking out time to listen to my podcast every week. I know you are busy and maybe you've only had the time to listen to an episode or two but thank you all the same for not stopping me from sending you my messages every week. That counts for something and I appreciate you for that. And for those times you've been able to listen to the actual podcast, gosh, I appreciate and celebrate you. God bless you real good.  I promise today's episode is super short. Just 5min and it's basically to announce the next season which I am sincerely excited about. I would like to ask for your continued support. Specifically to help me share every episode of the podcast you get. Just a share on your Whatsapp status or Facebook page will do the trick. As it means more people clicking on the link and listening to the podcast. That way you have supported a sister and also blessed a life.  God bless you. I love you, but remember that God loves you way more. You'd hear from me next week by God's grace. Until then, keep being amazing and have a productive week.  With Love from  Ejiro Osakede - a.k.a. Happy Sunday and a happy new month. I am grateful for the gift of another month. It's so great that God has segmented our lives and existence into times and season which gives us the opportunity to start afresh if we so desire.  It is the eighth month of the year and the number eight signifies new beginnings. I pray that this will be our experience indeed this month.  After last week's episode, I got some beautiful responses to my questions about how to deal with fear and anxiety. On today's episode, I share some of those responses with you and I hope you find them helpful. I also led us through a short worship session in honour to God who has gifted us a new month. I am so excited that we have now come to the end of chapter one of Called to Worship by Vernon M. Whaley. I don't know about you but I 've been blessed by the journey so far. Being reminded that all of creation reminds us and points us to the fact that we were made to worship God. And today going on to see God's purpose for worship revealed.  I hope that you keep this always before you that you are made and called to worship and that worship is essentially living a life that glorifies God.  Till I come your way again next week. Remain blessed and have an amazing week.  Connect with me on Instagram via https://www.instagram.com/ejiroosakede/ --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ejiro-osakede/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ejiro-osakede/support
On today's episode, we look at the Plan of God revealed from the book Called to worship by Vernon M. Whaley. God created us to worship Him. And in Genesis 1, the words "Evening passed and morning came" points us to six attributes of worship. 1. Worship takes time 2. Worship is a process 3. Worship requires growth 4. Worship requires order 5. Worship should be fresh 6. Worship is part of God's cycle of life. As you go about your way this week, let everything within and without you point be as a reminder that you were made to worship.  Let every breath you take, let everything nature you see call your attention to the fact that you were made to worship Him. Have a productive and worship filled week. God bless you. I love you but God loves you way more. Happy Sunday again to you my dear listener.  I hope you had a great week and your weekend has been restful. So I have been a little under the weather and so it's been a bit of a struggle sticking to time. Hence the lateness of today's episode dropping. However, I am grateful to Abba for the gift of life.   On today's episode, I featured my sister Naa as she shared with us a portion of the book CALLED TO WORSHIP by VERNON M. WHALEY and how it spoke to her. She also gave us a little sample of her sweet voice by singing the song that came to mind for her. I do hope that today's episode blesses you.  Till I come your way again next week, have a fantastic and productive week ahead.  Connect with me via Instagram on www.instagram.com.ejiroosakede --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ejiro-osakede/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/ejiro-osakede/support
Happy Sunday to you!  I hope that you had a productive week and that your weekend has also been restful. On today's episode, Vernon M. Whaley author of Called to Worship, in part one of this book explained how creation in itself was the very beginning of a call to worship. He explained how God gave us a model of worship. How everything in creation including ourselves should bring us to a place of awesome wonder in who God is. He (God) is the centre of all things and He created all things for His pleasure.  Enjoy the artistic combination of words Whaley used to describe this phenomenon. And I pray that as you listen and go about your week, that your eyes are open to behold the wonders of God all around you. That you begin to see how majestic God is just considering all of His creation including you.  I pray you an amazing week and I pray that you never lose the wonder of God.  See you next week.  Book - Called to Worship by Vernon M. A happy new month to you! How exciting is it that we are already in the third month of 2020? I really do hope that you are smashing your goals and expanding your reach? If you are yet to dive in you are already late,  but today is another day to get back in the game of winning. Let's March forward into greatness, shall we? Yes!  Today on the show I had my Jamaican sister from another mother grace the mic with me in the studio and shared her worship song of the week by the Elevation Worship. She shared about how this song reminds her of a pull she's been having from the father. Why not listen and hear what she had to say. I hope it blesses you.  Have a fantastic week, month and days ahead.
