In episode 37 of The Endurance Podcast, we discuss January mistakes that you'll want to avoid as you start your new year training. It's back to normal, on Tweets of the week with Mike taking the victory.
In episode 36, we have a great chat with Tom Rigby and Dan McParland. The 2 North West athletes are close friends, training partners and both had Stellar years in 2022. Dan lead Ironman UK overall until mile 14 in the marathon and finished his year winning Ironman Florida. Tom won 70.3 Ireland at a canter and then Ironman Wales. The question of the podcast... In 2023, there's 400m to go to the Ironman UK finish line and you're shoulder to shoulder, 1st and 2nd overall... what's the conversation you have?
In episode 35, we discuss the things that you need to hear right now... What do you need to take into account for your winter training plan? In other news. Marc celebrated his 50th birthday by winning 'Tweets of the Week' as Mike goes off the rails... All in all, it was a great show.
In episode 34 of TEP we have a quick recap of the major events in the last few weeks (we haven't spoken for a while) and chat about the winter ahead. Mike wins Tweets of the week (again) and we secure our best ever team average.
This week we chat about all things Lakeland 50 & 100 which takes place next week.   We share our top do's and don'ts for this type of race. As always there's the weather update and of course "tweets of the week"
We're only 2 weeks from Ironman UK and other big races, so in this week's podcast we discuss taper, race strategy and what people generally get wrong on the day. In other major news, Marc wins Tweets of the week and Mike doesn't even care... as Wales are going to the World Cup.
Welcome to Episode 31, Mike and Ian catch up with last weekend's Outlaw Half winner Lizzie Rayner.   Lizzie won the overall race on her 70.3 debut, gaining her pro license in the process.   We discuss her training, goal setting, recovery, her future plans and her experiences working in Spain with a professional Cycling Team.

Yes, I know, we've talked about this before... but this week's podcast discusses polarized training which once again hit the headlines on the Twittersphere. We chat about polarized V non-polarized, the benefits of each and how they can work together in the same plan. Episode also includes 'Tweets of the Week' with the exception of Ian, who has been blocked from Twitter for violating their rules... and you thought he was respectable.

This week we review IMUK weekend and talk tapering, performance, recovery and the Ironman blues... In 'tweets of the week' Mike continues his dominance, with another finely tuned performance.
In this week's episode we discuss the 'pre-season slump'... You'd think as races are about to start, people would be raring to go, but this in fact is one of the common times that people often feel a bit flat and lack motivation. In other news, Mike continues his domination of 'tweets of the week'
We're back with The Endurance Podcast episode 20 and this week the competition hots up for tweets of the week. We discuss NSAIDS in sport, the marathon trials and of course... how could we not discuss Beth Potter's 5k best at the Podium 5k. We're also available on iTunes and Spotify.
The good looking trio are back for another episode. Ian gives his opinion on wearing masks whilst running and Mike fails again on 'tweets of the week'. In amongst the nonsense, we discuss training volume, intensity and the 80:20 principle. We're also available on Spotify and iTunes.
