Scripture Used in this sermon:Romans 8:38-39I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 John 4:7b-8Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. Ephesians 3:17b-19I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Lamentations 3:31-32No one is cast off by the Lord forever. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. Psalm 103:8-13The lord is merciful and gracious; He is slow to get angry and full of unfailing love. He will not constantly accuse us, nor remain angry forever. He has not punished us for all our sins, He does He deal harshly with us as we deserve. For His unfailing love toward those who fear Him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our rebellious acts as far away from us as the east is from the west. The Lord is like a Father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear Him.  Hebrews 12:5-10Have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you, His children? He said, “My child, don’t ignore it when the Lord disciplines you, and don’t be discouraged when He corrects you”…as you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as His own children. Whoever heard of a child that was not disciplined?... God’s discipline is always right and good for us because it means we will share in His holiness. Romans 8:1So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 John 1:9If we confess our sins to him, He is faithful and just to forgives us and cleanse us from every wrong. Isiah 30:18The Lord longs to be gracious to you, And He waits on high to have compassion on you. Jeremiah 3:22My wayward children, return to me and I will heal your wayward hearts. Hebrews 10:17I will never again remember their sins or lawless deeds. Support the show (http://drumalliance.com)
