In this episode, we unpack one of the sneakiest psychological barriers standing between you and your goals: the fear that something will be “too difficult.”Here’s the truth: your brain is wired for survival, not success. Anything unfamiliar feels like a potential threat. Long before you take action, your mind exaggerates how uncomfortable, exhausting, or overwhelming something will be. Psychologists call this impact bias — our tendency to overestimate how painful or difficult a new experience will feel. Most of the “difficulty” happens in your imagination.Inside this episode, we explore:Why your brain fears difficulty before you even beginHow procrastination disguises itself as preparationThe connection between perfectionism and avoidanceThe identity stories you unconsciously tell yourselfThe Goldilocks Effect and why your brain both resists and craves challengeThe psychology behind comparing your struggle to someone else’s highlight reelAnd 5 practical, science-backed steps to stop letting fear run the showYou’ll learn why “hard” does not mean “impossible.”Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/vtpIdMK_A68Book your complimentary coaching session: https://calendly.com/padenbhutia-coaching/pro-bono-coaching-sessionEmail: padenbhutia@padenbhutia.com

You may have heard about ‘prioritizing’ your goals. But how do you practically go about prioritizing your goals, without feeling overwhelmed? I used to find it difficult to work on my goals because I couldn’t decide which goals I wanted to work on first. The result was that I ended up trying to work on all my goals at the same time and ended up getting frustrated and overwhelmed. With experience, I’ve learned that you can have many goals and even work on them simultaneously, but not at the same time. There’s a powerful technique called Structural Alignment, which I learned during my coach education, and I’m sharing it in this week’s Action-Ables episode. This technique is used by many coaches to get powerful breakthroughs with their clients.. It’s simple, powerful and you can use it to work on your life goals. In this episode, I break down a technique that can help you prioritize your life goals without feeling overwhelmed.🎧 Listen to the full episode on Spotify:📹 Watch the full episode here: https://youtu.be/sKW7FwTZvaA➡️ Book a free coaching session with me: https://www.padenbhutia.com/about-padenbhutia💻 Free resources to help you with your life goals: www.padenbhutia.com📧 I’m unavailable on any social media platform as of now. In this Action-Ables episode, I share why a typical goal-setting exercise often fails to yield results. While writing down goals is a crucial step, it’s not the sole determinant of success. Setting goals without taking the second, equally important step of consistent action hinders your progress and leads to frustration. This is the primary reason why many individuals who set goals end up feeling disheartened about their life aspirations.I share a simple yet effective method called O.R.S. that has proven beneficial in achieving my own goals. You can apply this approach to your own objectives and observe its impact on your journey.Achieving life goals requires dedication and perseverance. One key skill that can significantly enhance your chances of success is developing the ability to maintain consistency in your efforts. In this episode, I sit down with the brilliant Subhali Chatterjee. She’s an Astrologer and an Emotional Healing & Self-Expression Mentor. Her work involves helping individuals decode their emotional patterns and relationship challenges using the ancient wisdom of Vedic Astrology and modern emotional regulation techniques. After spending years navigating her journey of emotional trauma, heartbreak, and people-pleasing tendencies, she turned to the Vedic sciences — particularly astrology — to understand the deeper karmic patterns behind her struggles. This exploration led her to develop a unique framework where she blends astrological insights, spiritual practices, and emotional healing to help others break free from unhealthy cycles, master communication, and express themselves fully.Subhali has guided hundreds of individuals to not only understand their own charts but also transform that knowledge into real-life shifts—whether healing relationship wounds, improving communication in marriages, or releasing stored emotional trauma. Through her programs, social media content, and coaching, she empowers her clients to align with their cosmic blueprint and create fulfilling personal and professional lives. In addition, she also helps coaches and service-based entrepreneurs use astrology to better understand their audience psychology, craft magnetic client avatars, and build aligned lead generation systems.Subhali believes that astrology is not just predictive; it’s deeply transformational when used for self-awareness and emotional mastery. Deep dive into this conversation with Paden and Subhali. You can connect with Subhali @aligned_by_subhaliYou can connect with Paden @lifecoachpadenWatch the full episode on YouTube @Action-Ables channel.
