Randy, Tom, and Rich discuss the Lions 2025 draft class. It’s a very interesting draft class this year. Including three trade ups Brad Holmes brought a full complement of 7 draft picks back with him to Detroit. There was talk of not being able to afford more than 5 players because of looming future contracts, and the same for current players on the roster going forward but it feels a little different now. There’s a chance that all seven players selected in Green Bay will make meaningful contributions to and upgrade the team and practice squad. Continuing the conversation from the end of last weeks episode Randy and Rich focus on the offensive linemen in the draft and what some scenarios look like. The headline of the day is Josh Reynolds signing with Denver. At up to $14 million for a 2-year contract it’s safe to say that’s more than Detroit would be willing to pay. We’ll get to WR in the draft in the coming episodes.

The Lions brought in some new cornerbacks only to see one current cornerback be released due to a still developing legal investigation. Veteran additions DT D.J.
