Yalllllll welcome back! Eric Ashley and Gabe are here to talk about dreams. Do they have a purpose, is there anything "real" about them, and is there any reason to be held accountable for our actions while dreaming?
Yalllllll welcome back. This one is a bit different, honestly alot different. Eric and I welcome back John R to the show. In the past few years, John's father died of cancer, and my father died of a heart attack. Admittedly, it's not a super popular topic, but we decided to dive in anyways :-) This is easily the most serious show we've ever recorded, so I truly hope you enjoy it, even without some of the usual, more light hearted antics. Thanks for listening.
Yallllll welcome back! This one is just stupendous. For the last few weeks I’ve been preparing to interview Tim, a home gardener, who is the son of two botanical scientists, which is true. His folks give tours of their home garden because they are super good at growing plants. However, before we started recording, Tim revealed a surprise talent he pursues that threw us all for a loop, in the best way. Ashley and Vance are here, we cover 20 different topics as we go. And naturally we end with God talk, which starts around the hour and 5 minute mark. Thanks for listening yall, enjoy!
Yalllllll welcome back! Women are amazing, I think we all know that. So this week, let's take a moment to appreciate women as a whole. I know at first glance, a 4 man panel talking about women is an odd look, but Ashley, our show's amazing female presence, had the idea that we could run this one all dudes, so we obliged. Now look, I promise you, our hearts are in the right place on this one, however, we are who we are, and this one goes off the rails a lot, like a whole whole lot... WOMEN ARE AMAZING just remember that's the point of this one, please :-) Thanks for listening y'all, enjoy!
**WE HAVE A TWITTER @Everythingisin7 ** Yallllll welcome back! This little podcast has become a collective effort, so this week we go way back. We talk growing up together, toilet papering each others houses, playing with fireworks while driving, the multiple times that Eric kept Joe out of jail and much more. Plus, we get serious with our first small dip into politics. Thanks for listening, enjoy!
Yalllll Welcome back! Super excited about this one. I've done a couple God Talks with a Christian believer, with a Christian pastor and with an Atheist. So this week I'm talking with my good friend Joe who is none of those things, not even close. He has an interesting perspective on God and how he interacts with God and I've been looking forward to having him on for a while now. Definitely some strong language here, so buckle up, and enjoy!
Yallllll welcome back! The world is an interesting place these days, so Vance and I wanna talk about that. BLACK LIVES MATTER - obviously, and I can't believe we even have to say that, so I'll say it again BLACK LIVES MATTER. Vance and I are white dudes, so we cannot speak to black experience, but we can talk about how to help and what society can do to improve moving forward. Also, we unveil a new game called "Dumb, Scared, or Racist" where I name a person in the news recently who did some stupid shit, and Vance and I decide why they did it, is it cuz they are dumb, scared or racist?
Also, I'll reference this in the episode, so here is the link to my attempt at modern protest lyrics revamping an old sublime song: https://youtu.be/h7aeBEx6my8
Yallllll welcome back! The world is interesting right now to say the least, and I will do an episode dedicated to the protests and the movement that is happening right now, as that is important and permanently impactful on American culture. However, if you want a moment to step away from that, then my favorite escape from tough times, is listening to Phish. The band Phish, has a worldwide cult like following, and I have to admit, they are my favorite band, HOWEVER, I have only seen them 11 or 12 times. Here with me this week are two friends of mine who have collectively seen the band over 100 times. If you already love Phish, you know why they've seen them so much, and if you do not love or even do not know who Phish is, hopefully this episode will help open you up to a musical phenomenon that is unlike any other. Thanks for listening!
Yalllll welcome back, super excited for this one, but also good bit embarrassed, as you’ll hear later. Doing an NBA draft, but this time, each starting 5 player has to be from a different decade. Vance, star of the show, is here, with by far the most surprising picks. Rob and Eric, who as far as I’m concerned should be professional fake NBA draft experts make superb selections along the way. And then there’s me, the guy who set it all up and made the worst picks of the 4 of us… words cannot express how upset I am right now 😊. Thanks for listening!
Yalllll Welcome back. I learned as much this episode as I have in any episode so far. This week I have my good friend Dave whom I've known for 20 years, I love him like a brother. He came out as gay about a decade ago, give or take, and his life has changed drastically ever since. We grew up in Texas, in southern baptist households, and his story of discovering who he was, is astounding and incredibly interesting. I ask him every question I can think of, and he gives brutally honest responses at times. Obviously he is not some overall spokesperson for the gay community, but we joke that he is actually King David of the gays, so he speaks for all gay people worldwide. Thanks for listening, and enjoy!
Yalllllll welcome back! Super excited here, this one was so much fun. I do not like baseball, Vance my cohost and star of the show LOVES baseball. We are joined by Rob Salmon who really likes baseball and Dylan Ellis doesn't exactly love it, so we have 4 very different opinions here. We discuss baseball in its entirety. Is it even technically a sport? Whats the deal with the unwritten rules? Where is baseball going, and how can we adjust the game to make it more fun for future generations? Plenty of jokes and left turns along the way, I'm sure you'll love it. Thanks for listening!
Yalllll welcome back! This Corona stuff aint going away, and its starting to seriously affect businesses across the country. So this week we have a Dentist and a Lawyer, both of whom have employees that have been affected by this. Karli and Vance run professional practices that have changed drastically because of Covid so I wanted to get their thoughts on the ever changing situation. As always Vance, star of the show, has his segments planned out flawlessly and Karli gives an incredibly interesting perspective to her side of the business world and how things are evolving from her point of view. Thanks for listening!
Yallll welcome back! I absolutely LOVE the NBA and most specifically the dunk contest. Myself and 4 others each draft a team based solely on dunking ability. Have to have a point guard, 2 swingmen, a power forward and Center. Now I focus more on the dunk contest ability, whereas my counterparts gave more credence to the in game dunking ability. So thats why we picked who we picked, but regardless, this is a great show. Good times!
Yalllll welcome back! This Covid stuff has me interested to no end and I want to interview as many people as I can about how their lives have changed, what they think the future holds and what good can come from Covid 19. This episode I interview professional poker player Sam Von Kennel and he has many surprising answers, I gotta admit.
Yallllll welcome back! We're all affected by this current pandemic, so I want to start interviewing people about how their lives have changed. I want to document this in real time because its absolutely bizarre and altogether new. This week I interview Dylan Ellis, a friend of mine in the Beer Industry, an industry that is still going strong right now, so he has a unique perspective for certain, and honestly, I find it very interesting. Hopefully so do you!
Yallllllll welcome back! Super excited for this one, and you can tell by listening, cuz I talk fast and I cuss alot when Im excited. But I have good reason to be excited, because this episode is co-hosted by Twitch streaming legend (and MIT graduate) Vance Lebourgeois. This man knows a thing or two about dem ol' vidja games, thanks in part to his bachelors degree from Stanford and his Doctorate from MIT. So strap in, cuz this is the longest episode yet, and by far the most fun.
Yallll welcome back! This month we're doing the internet, giving the history and potential future of this tool we all know and love. Also, seems like my new microphone picks up more background noise than my old one, so if you hear my kids talking in the other room, dont mind that :-)
Yaaallllllllll welcome back! Been excited to do this one for weeks because this episode all about Holidays. Which one was first? Whats the biggest? Why do we have so many? Id say let's we'll all learn together, but what do I know?
Welcome back yall! Last show we talked sexy people, this episode we're talking rich people. Who are they? What kinds of nonsense do they buy? Are they actually happier thanks to their money? Lets find out.
Yalllll welcome back! Been a minute. This week covering the concept of sexiness. What is sexy, has sexy always been defined the same way? I'll discuss it along with some jokes and maybe even a song or two.
