In this packed episode, we hear segments from the team here at The Front Arte y Cultura Gallery: Hector Castro spoke with Enrique Von Borstel, president of Bulldog Productions and Director of Black Box Tijuana, who takes us on a tour of local music and production from the cross-border area. Vania Mercado shares with us about her experience with the DACA program in the United States, an initiative created in 2012 that provides protection against deportations to people even if they are minors. Additionally, this year Casa Familiar celebrated its 50th anniversary of working with the community. Francisco Eme recounts what happened at "Casa Fest 2023"; a fusion of art, food and music from Nortec artists: Bostich + Fussible, Ronda Machetera, La Diabla, Liquid Blue, Mara Sulu with Revival and Mariachi Internacional San Diego. And finally, Yinna Aldama, a Kumiai indigenous person, talks to us about stolen territories and privatized land, as part of the indigenous community of Baja California segment.
