My word for this year is “peak health”. Not just physically, but across my business, finances, relationships and life. And the more I pursue it this year, the more I realise something important: peak health isn’t created through big dramatic changes or heroic bursts of motivation. It’s built through small, consistent habits layered day after day. In this episode, I’m sharing seven of the micro habits that support my energy, mindset, and resilience… from the ones I’ve practised for over 15 years to a few I’ve added more recently. These aren’t performative or overly laborious wellness routines. They’re the small things I do consistently behind the scenes that help me feel clearer, stronger and more grounded as I build my business and life. I cover: Why micro habits are so powerful for nervous system regulation How tiny daily practices compound into massive long-term wellbeing The connection between identity and daily habits Why trying to change too much at once usually backfires This episode is NOT about perfection or adding ten new habits overnight! It’s about choosing one small shift that supports the life and business you’re building. The podcast is going on a break for April - I’ll be back in May with a batch of fresh conversations to share with you. This episode is a little different. As we move into the final days before Bold Darling doors close (on 26th March), I wanted to sit down and answer some of the questions that have been coming through in my DMs and conversations lately. The questions you ask are never random. They reveal where you are in your business, what you’re navigating behind the scenes, and how ready you are for your next level. In this direct (but loving!) episode, I answer: “How do I balance being in my masculine in business and then switching into my feminine at home? I feel like I’m in CEO mode all the time!” “I want to grow and make more money, but I’m already stressed. What do I do when scaling feels overwhelming?” “What financial support do I need to put in place as I scale? How involved should I be as the business owner?” “I’ve made a lot of mistakes building my team - how do I actually do it well?” “Please share all and any efficiency tips” Underneath all of this, we’re REALLY talking about identity, energy, structure, and leadership, because you scale by becoming the woman who leads differently, builds a business that supports her, and surrounds herself with the right level of conversation and support. If you’ve been listening and finding yourself thinking, “This is the level I want to operate at”... Doors to my Bold Darling Mastermind are closing on Thursday 26th February. I would love to welcome you inside. Visit bolddarling.com to explore. Why do the same challenges keep appearing for women building businesses… no matter the industry, stage or personality? After eight years mentoring female founders, and working with thousands of women through retreats, programs and private mentoring, I’ve started to notice something pretty striking. The businesses may be very different. The women themselves certainly are. Yet the same patterns tend to surface again and again. Certain conversations repeat and certain reminders land at exactly the moment a founder needs to hear them. They are often deceptively simple ideas, but they have a way of shifting how a woman leads her business almost immediately. In this bonus episode, I’m sharing a handful of the advice I share most often with my mentees. These are nuggets drawn directly from years of mentoring women as they navigate the realities of building and scaling their companies. They span leadership, personal standards, and the often overlooked role that energy, capacity and self-leadership play in sustainable growth. Because while strategy matters, the way a woman leads herself is what really shapes the trajectory of her business. If this conversation resonates with you, it will also give you a sense of the philosophy behind my Bold Darling Mastermind. Inside Bold Darling, we go much deeper into this work, supporting women to implement these principles within their businesses in a way that is strategic, sustainable and expansive. Doors are open until midnight Thursday 26th March. Visit bolddarling.com to explore. Burnout has become strangely normal in the entrepreneurial world, particularly for women. Late nights. Weekend work. Saying no to life so the business can keep growing. Many founders truly believe that success requires sacrifice. In this episode, I challenge that belief head-on. I share why burnout isn’t a strategy problem, it’s a design problem, and why so many businesses are structured in ways that drain the very women building them. I also pull back the curtain on how I intentionally designed my own business and life since my burnout-adjacent experience in 2019, including working three and a half days a week while continuing to grow a thriving business. You’ll hear real examples from Bold Darling members who have redesigned their businesses to create more space, more calm, and more sustainable success. Have you found yourself saying these phrases a lot?! “It’ll calm down soon.” “I just need to push through this season.” “I want to scale, but I’m already maxed out.” If so, this episode will challenge you to rethink what success actually requires, and what might be possible when you design your business differently. This conversation feels deeply special. In today’s episode, I’m joined by Olivia Green, Founder of North Side Speech Pathology, co-founder of Minds in Bloom AND member of my Bold Darling Mastermind. Six years ago, Olivia was driving between clients with everything in her car, sometimes breastfeeding her four-month-old between sessions. Today? She leads a team of 12 clinicians, runs a thriving clinic space, and has expanded into a second venture supporting neurodivergent students in schools. Oh and she’s had another child. But what I love most about Olivia isn’t the growth. It’s how she’s grown. She’s steady, grounded, strategic and consistent. In this episode, Olivia and I cover: The key decisions that moved her from solo operator to founder The internal shifts that had to happen before her external expansion Why she rejects flashy growth models How she blends motherhood, marriage, fitness, and leadership The boundaries that protect her energy The role accountability has played in her execution What changed when she stepped into Bold Darling If you’re building something meaningful and want success that doesn’t cost you your life, this conversation will land deeply.
