Welcome Franky to the Podcast! His job is helping people, and it's something he loves to do! Listen as we chat about meditation, aiding the underprivileged, and making music! Check out his website with all of his projects including his podcast: http://www.commongravity.com/
My guest this week is a good friend of mine! He created a program that gives horse gamblers an edge, and wants to stay anonymous. He explains it very well in the podcast, so I will let you listen to exactly how he does it, but this is one fun, interesting episode that everyone can benefit from! Follow him, and contact him on Twitter @VegasHorsePools
Jon Petrick is the founder, and clinical director of Las Vegas Pain Relief Center. You might recognize him from the news, or from interviews about his work, or his appearances on UFC's Ultimate Fighter. His work is focused on bettering people's lives, and he is a delight to talk to. Give a listen and see for yourself what a genuine guy Jon is! Fashion is not my strong point, which is why I learned so much from today's guest Iris! She is a fashion consultant for Burberry and helps people dress their best. She also helps organize volunteer events to benefit the community, which is where I met her! She works at the Burberry in Caesar's Palace, and if you're interested in getting some top notch fashion advice from someone who knows their stuff, you can reach her at: iris.tsui@burberry.com
This is an episode I've been wanting to do for a long time! Shaye and Edwin are two comedians from California that do a lot for the Vegas Comedy scene. Shaye does comedy around town, and really immerses herself in the scene, and Edwin is the resident headliner at Las Vegas Live Comedy Club in the Planet Hollywood on the strip, always giving spots to local comedians. This is my first episode with more than one guest, and is also filmed in the green room before, after, and during the show. It was a fun night, filled with laughter, and there is also guest appearances by other local comedians Skratch Cummings, and Steven Roberts. Also, did I mention Edwin and Shaye are married and have a baby that also makes an appearance on the show?! It's a crazy, fun, laugh filled episode, and I hope you enjoy it! Here's where you can find Edwin and Shaye: facebook.com/edwinsj Twitter: @edwinsanjuanesj@shayemontante Their podcast: http://edsaidshayesaid.libsyn.com/
Richard Munchkin used to be a film director, writer and actor in Hollywood, until he realized he had a gift for gambling. Now he lives in Las Vegas, and is always on the lookout for any way to outsmart the casinos! He's interesting as hell, and I learned a whole lot. If you've ever wondered what happened after the movie 21, this is the episode to listen to! He co-hosts a podcast called Gambling with an Edge, has written a book on the topic called Gambling Wizards, and you can find out all about him and his journey at richardmunchkin.com Trust me, this episode is a sure bet! The odds are high you'll have a good time! Additional gambling pun! Enjoy!
Anime is a style of Japanese animation that is wildly popular in Japan, and gaining a huge following in America. The following is so huge that several conventions for Anime have popped up across the country. today I have the privilege of interviewing the co founder of one of these events! Dani Gamutan and her friends created Sabakon, one of Vegas' most beloved Anime conventions. We talk about how one of these conventions gets created, and why people are so into Anime. Get ready for a fun filled trip!
Shuli and I have shared carne asada tacos on more than one occasion. He is the type of guy I could talk to forever. Our conversations always hit every octave, from humorous, to intellectual, to downright dirty. This conversation is no different! Take a listen as we start our conversation with blow job jokes, then later question the meaning of life, and our purpose in the universe. I know it's a long one, but it's worth every minute!
Laurie Willmott is delightful. There's no other way to put it, but her job is hard to describe. It is a type of therapy for people with mental or physical problems that involves learning how to ride a horse. She does a fantastic job of explaining so I'll leave it at that. In this episode, we dive deep into exactly how the therapy works, and what goes into a regular day for her. If you are interested in attending the charity event: Taste of Spirit at the South Point listed in the episode you can find out more info here: http://www.spirittherapies.org/ or follow them on facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/Spirit-Therapies-190694199796/timeline/
