Whether you are posting for fun, looking to grow your following and be an "influencer" (I hate that word #sorrynotsorry), make a splash with your platform or wow the judges (yes, most do look even if they aren't judging, it's still often their first impression), posting perfect all the time is doing you and your audience no favours. Let's jump into why and what to do instead. 💗💙💗💙💗 We hope you have enjoyed and found this episode helpful. This episodes special guest is Elle Seline, who is a finalist for Ms Great Britain 2021 and is doing it make-up free! www.instagram.com/elle_seline_official www.twitter.com/elle_seline 💗💙💗💙💗 We hope you have enjoyed and found this episode helpful. Are you a STARker?

Are you a STARker?

Starker is a new word to my vocab that means a star stalker. In this episode we talk about who you could be missing out on the best of pageantry by just focusing on the current stars within the UK industry. 💗💙💗💙💗 We hope you have enjoyed and found this episode helpful. I think most people would agree that a title comes with some responsibilities. This can vary based on your system and contract. But how much do we consider how we are representing our system as a finalist or queen and why is it important. 💗💙💗💙💗 We hope you have enjoyed and found this episode helpful. I an still shocked by the number of people that don't realise it's okay to set your own boundaries in life. Often associated with over coaching, a pageant Patty is very obvious to judges, director and even the audience. In this episode, we talk about what you need to be on the lookout for so you don't become one and why it's time to ditch those Patty tendencies if they have already crept in. 💗💙💗💙💗 We hope you have enjoyed and found this episode helpful. In the first of our DIG DEEP & DEBATE episodes, we speak with Lauren Parkinson, a Miss Wales finalist, about all things relating to LGBTQ+ and pageantry. This is a commonly asked pageant question - Who inspires you? I see it in blogs, lives, podcasts and in pageant interviews. But all too often the person answering the question can't actually tell you why they think the person is inspirational. In this episode, we go into why it's important to identify why someone is inspirational and how not to lose your own sparkle if you are trying to follow in their footsteps. 💗💙💗💙💗 We hope you have enjoyed and found this episode helpful. In pageantry, we can often shy away from the difficult conversations. Part of the fear is looking silly on the journey to educate ourselves, but the additional issue when you are involved with pageantry is that it could affect your chances of winning. But more and more, judges and directors are coming out to say silence and ignorance speak just as loudly as asking questions and speaking up. Here on the podcast, we are going to be having some special episodes between our normal episodes called DIG DEEP & DEBATE. ******** We hope you have enjoyed and found this episode helpful. In pageantry, we often get stuck worrying about who might end up as our next judge, sister queen or system sponsor. But if systems and suppliers want to grow and improve we all need to work together to give honest feedback. In this episode, we dig into why and how this can be done for the benefit of all involved. ******** We hope you have enjoyed and found this episode helpful.
