When i first saw Manaal he was doing very interesting visuals with colored wax, oil and water for a concert backstage, this was almost 10 years ago. Most people know him as DJ Manaal / Mo / @autonomotor. He has been doing lot in different creative areas and specially he is a great electronic music producer in Maldives.
Manaal is currently stationed mixing and producing his music in Noonu Atoll Cheval Blanc Randheli Island. He talks about being stationed in a resort island, cultural tourism and Maldivian music.
Recently Ethos.av, an audiovisual collective that he is part of was showcased as the feature label on Aneesha kotwani's show on the BBC asia network. The show is a exploration of contemporary sounds of south asia. This episode is focused on Maldives and Nepal.

On this episode we research and talk about how the art community in Maldives could survive this pandemic and gain a better livelihood in the close future by using successful mechanism used in Maldivian idol . On this episode we have referred the speech given by PSM MD Mr Ibrahim Khaleel on Maldivian idol season 1 finale (5 May 2016).
We look at the survey done by Maldivian broadcasting commission called broadcast public survey from 2013. This survey conducted talks about TV/ radio content, local content and public opinion based on the survey. And also we look into public service media law of maldives and how this law can help our creative community.
Also we have referred to Mr Murad Hassan's part of employees dialog webinar, which was conducted by National federation of Maldivian employers on the topic tailoring a new reality: employers dialog (3 June 2020). He talks about tourism marketing and Maldives.

We welcome GMB Akash to our podcast. GMB Akash is a Bangladeshi photographer, storyteller and photojournalist & writer, received 100 international Awards, speaker at TEDxPorto and TEDxHyderabad. He talks about how he started is photography journey, humanitarian work, photo projects and about the exhibition that was held in National Art Gallery of Maldives under the title “Soulscapes”. This exhibition was held from 4th November until 6th November 2019.
“Soulscapes” present a collection of photos from 11 of his projects. A total of 55 powerful photos taken in 5 different countries ranging from Bangladesh, Nepal to Pakistan, each project focuses on an important societal issue.
