In this message, Pastor Chris Rieber looks at Ephesians 3 to examine how God is working the "long game" with us. He works with an eternal perspective. We shouldn't get so wrapped up in the here and now that we lose sight of Eternity in view.
In the opening Sermon of our series through the book of Ephesians, Pastor Chris Rieber looks at the fact that all the good we have in salvation is provided through Christ and secured in Christ.
In this message, Pastor Chris Rieber begins a series walking through the Book of Ephesians. Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week which carried Christ from the praise of the Triumphal Entry to the humiliation of the Cross and the glory of His resurrection. This message focuses on the importance and urgency of Christ's redemptive work on the cross. Without an occupied cross, there could be no empty tomb.
In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at Jesus' miraculous healing of the Blind Man at the Pool of Siloam. This man was healed by his faith to obey Christ's commands, and his view of Christ clarified from thinking Jesus was just a man to being the Son of God worthy of His worship. The Pharisees, however, chose to remain blind even though all the evidence of Christ was right in front of them.
In this message from the Changed Series, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at the scene from John 8 where the Pharisees used a woman who was busted while cheating on her husband in order to trip Jesus up. Christ's compassionate defense of this woman is a stark contrast to the Pharisees judgmental and merciless treatment of her. In this scene, we see just how Christ chooses to deal with our sin, and how it should challenge us all to be a little less critical of others.
When Jesus touches a life, He changes is completely and forever. When Jesus healed the lame man at the pool of Bethesda, it was an announcement to the world that Jesus is the only true hope for the healing of sin and our powerlessness over it.
In the final message in this series, Pastor Chris Reiber looks at the importance of giving the Holy Spirit first place in your life in order to move on to spiritual maturity.
The indwelling presence of God requires that we embrace the abiding of Jesus Christ. He abides in us so that we may abide in Him.
Continuing a study through Scripture on the subject of how God intends to dwell within each believer and delights when we submit to His Spirit to lead, guide, direct and commune with us.
Pastor Chris Rieber begins a four-part series on what it truly looks like to walk in step with the Holy Spirit. In this message, we look at how God intends to indwell us as a new owner, not just a resident.
Many people believe that faith is the absence of doubt or fear. Actually, faith is trust in the face of doubt and fear. In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at the two discouraged disciples traveling to Emmaus when they met Jesus who called them to renew their faith in the promises of the Messiah.
Have you ever had a crisis? That's an obvious question, right? We are all familiar with crisis in our lives. And, we all have the very same crisis in common - the crisis of sin. And, this is a life and death kind of crisis. In this message, we look at how we must be desperate for only Christ to handle our greatest crisis.
In the second message of the "Changed" Series, we take a look at the Samaritan Woman at the Well to see how her life -- and the lives of others in Samaria -- were changed when Jesus touched their lives and gave them Living Water.
In the first message of the "Changed" Series, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at how when Jesus touches your heart, it is never the same. One of the best examples of a changed heart is Zacchaeus the Tax Collector.
In this sermon, Pastor Derek Holmes discusses how everything God does is generated out of His immense love.
Pastor Chris Rieber continues our walk through the book of Isaiah by looking at the new name we are given in through redemption in the Messiah. This new name signifies belonging in a new family and it calls us to a better way to live both now and for eternity.
In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes looks at the suffering the Messiah would endure in order to make peace between humanity and God.
What do you hope for? Most of the time, when we think about hope, we are really talking about wishful thinking. Biblical hope is different. Biblical hope is a calm confidence in the faithfulness of God to keep His promises. In this message, Pastor Derek Holmes opens the Advent season by looking at the hopeful promise of a coming Messiah and how we should respond to that hope.
As section 2 of Isaiah opens, we are introduced to a brand new tone in Isaiah's prophetic voice; changing from one of coming judgment to one of promised comfort. That comfort is rooted in the promise of the coming Messiah and the hope of protection, provision and victory for God's people despite the current troubles.
In the last message of the Foundational Words Series, Pastor Derek Holmes discusses how faithfulness is what brings everything together. More than our skill, talent, maturity or anything else, it is required of servants of God to be faithful.
