Many people live with the quiet pressure that they must prove themselves, fix themselves, or do enough to earn God's approval. The Gospel isn't about you doing something wonderful for God – it's about God having done something wonderful for you. That's why it's the best news ever.
Is forgiveness a feeling, a command, or a choice? When we've been hurt, loving the person who wronged us can feel out of reach. Join us as we discover how God's love transforms the way we forgive. More at reynoldachurch.org
In the same way that God's grace turned you from foe to friend of God, so God's grace through you can transform the difficult people in your life.
As you have received empathy from Christ, you can show empathy to others and, when you do, you not only build relationship, you become a vessel of God's healing power.
Early last fall, a vision emerged to bless a thousand people and their relationships. In a culture marked by division and isolation, Scripture points to a better way.   Rooted in our identity as God's chosen and deeply loved children, Colossians 3 invites us to live clothed in empathy, kindness, humility, patience, and love.   The 2026 Blessing envisions people wrapped in this love and equipped to build healthy, life-giving relationships.   The Relationship Blessing Beloved, May all your relationships flourish. The unfading… The undiscovered… The unfinished… God cares about them all. So, He's bought you a new ensemble in Christ— Empathy, Kindness, and Patience. Whether with family, friend, or stranger, I bless you to wear your new wardrobe well and, above all, To stay wrapped up in God's love.   Download a digital version for your device at reynoldachurch.org/blessing
What does love have to do with your family today? Everything. In this message from Genesis 1-4, we look at God's beautiful design for family. Not just the version we wish we had, but the real one. The one with laughter, conflict, joy, wounds, history, and hope. You will see three simple truths that shape the whole sermon: Jesus created family. Jesus ordered family. Jesus blessed family. We will name what went wrong in the first home. Distrust. Shame. Blame. Hiding. Division. And we will see how those same patterns still show up in homes today. But we will also see the better news. The Gospel does not only forgive sin. Jesus heals shame. Jesus restores blessing. And He brings new life to families that feel tired, strained, or stuck. If your home feels peaceful, this message will strengthen your foundation. If your home feels painful, this message will remind you that Jesus is not done.
Because Jesus if full of grace and truth, so can our communication be. And when we learn to speak the truth in love, it changes everything.
By God's grace and a little work, all your relationships can get better in 2026. Friendships, parents, children, siblings, boyfriends, girlfriends, best friends, co-workers – by God's powerful love and the counsel of God's Word, all these relationships can flourish.

When the eternal God came to humanity, He didn't come for a visit – He moved in.
In this Advent episode of Inside Grace, Pastor Alan Wright and Pastor Chris Lawson explore the longing at the center of every human heart. Through John 1:12 and even a few classic Christmas movies, they reveal why true belonging comes from being born of God and welcomed into His family. More at pastoralan.org

Anyone who receives Christ becomes a child of God – not a religious person, not a moral standard bearer, not even someone simply "saved" – but a child of God Himself. That's who you are. Join us for church tomorrow as we celebrate the second week of Advent.
In this Christmas episode of Inside Grace with Alan Wright, Pastor Alan is joined by Pastor Chris Lawson for a warm and lively conversation about the traditions that shape their families and churches each December. From favorite carols and candlelight services to quiet moments at home, Alan and Chris share the practices that help them slow down, remember the gospel, and keep Jesus at the center of Christmas. Along the way, they reflect on why traditions really matter, how they can either point us to grace or distract us from it, and how to refresh old habits that have gone a little stale. Then they turn to John chapter 1 to ask a surprising question. Could this beloved passage about the Word and the light be the perfect Christmas text? Discover how John 1 pulls back the curtain on the miracle of the incarnation and invites us to see Christmas not just as a manger scene, but as God stepping into our darkness with unshakable light.
Light of the World

Light of the World

In Jesus, the eternal Word of God, divine light has entered our darkness, and no darkness can ever overcome it. In this Advent message, Pastor Chris Lawson invites us to see why John chapter 1 is the perfect Christmas text. From the first words in the beginning to the promise that the light shines in the darkness, we discover that Christmas is not just a birth story. It is the arrival of the eternal Creator who speaks life into every shadow we face. You will hear how the Bible describes the Word who was with God and who is God, the One through whom all things were made. We will name the real darkness in our world and in our hearts, and then see how the light of Christ exposes lies, heals broken places, and welcomes us home to the Father. If you are longing for hope, clarity, and the steady light of Jesus in a noisy world, this message is for you. Light always dispels darkness. Always. And you, people of God, are children of light!
The gospel is not advice. It is news that arrives with God's own power. In this message we unpack Paul's words in Romans 1:16–17 and show how the good news does not merely inform. It performs. God uses the proclamation of Jesus to save, to sustain faith, and to form a new people who live by faith.   http://www.ReynoldaChuch.org   #Romans #Gospel #PowerOfTheGospel #BibleTeaching #Faith #JustificationByFaith #JesusChrist #GoodNews #NotAshamed #Habakkuk24
