As we make our way toward Christmas we look to see the light of Christ that shines in the darkness of the world, sin, and our lives. Sean shares his testimony of God’s faithfulness and light in the darkness he’s personally experienced.
In Mark chapter 8 Jesus extends the invitation of discipleship to whoever is willing deny themselves and focus on intentional soul care in Jesus.
When Jesus calls Matthew his whole world changes in an instance, but everything around him stays the same. When we place faith in Jesus everything changes, but nothing changes.
Nathanael was invited to come and see Jesus. He had to leave his old way of discipleship and become a disciple of Jesus. We too must move past the discipleship to culture and follow Jesus.
The disciples of Jesus have left everything for what they cannot leave behind.
The natural response to sin is to cover it up; the needed response is confession.
What happens after you sin? How do you receive God’s forgiveness.
We all sin and fall short of the glory of God, but what happens when we sin? Why do we sin? How can we walk with Jesus through our sin and still grow in righteousness?
