After 7 months! The Bored Bisayas are at it again! Join us in this episode full of segues, tangents, laugh trip, positivity, and a sneak peek to how we plan this podcast to be in the next coming months.
The Bisayas are back! We didn't really know what to talk about in this episode so we... once again... went on a couple of tangents. One thing's for sure though... we're back! With a vengeance (?)
We caught up with each other and a very exclusive episode where Luke gets VERY and I do mean VERY... cheesy. All that and more in this episode where we catch up with each other's shenanigans and lives. We're back. Bored Bisayas is back!
Exactly that... we talked about the chances of us talking about... chances.
So... we had time to finally talk about time.
We talked a bit about expectations... then a couple of segues. Well, a hundred segues, actually.
We talk about the power of words, moving on, and how we tried to do this for 3 times but failed twice. Special mention to Luke's sister who called in the middle of the recording so we had to have an interlude.
Well, we wanted to talk about toxic Filipino traits but we got sidetracked... a couple of times. Okay. Maybe a lot of times.
Jusko. Di jud malikayan, makastorya jud ug doggy-style. Hahah!
Okay, so... in light of recent events, ako (Mona) gichange among topic. And decided to talk about the recent events in our country. That being Maria Ressa, press freedom in general, and how we, as citizens, ultimately, can grow as a society during this time. Oh and of course, kasi... Independence Day.
We talked about mga kabuang sa Philippines ug sa uban countries... basta the world is in shambles. Oh and obedience, duh.
Well, we talked about confessions. Or as the kids call it, among mga gibati para niya.
In this episode, we talk about ghosting. Is it valid? Should it be a thing? For both of us, it's not - WTF are you thinking?! It's emotionally scarring uyh! Don't do it! Masakit! Also... I apologise for saying UNdecent instead of INdecent. Sorry naman.
In this first episode of Bored Bisayas, we talk about why we deny our past and why we shouldn't be doing that. Learn from the past and don't ignore it uy! Unsa ka ba?
Relationships we wish we had, we want to have, we already have... Basta, relationships.

This is the first (official) of a series of episodes my friends and I put together while in quarantine. At its core, it's a video call between friends and strangers who are trying to make sense of everything during this strange time. It's raw, possibly done incorrectly, audio is shit, and cursing is the norm. It's a series of episodes where the podcasters grasp their new reality and what it means for them and the society they live in. Heartfelt, drunk, raw, and honest.
