When's the last time you experienced SERIOUS delight? Or even mild delight? Has life during this pandemic gotten pretty grim? In this episode, Kamala talks about delight as being "of the Light." And how you can feel closer to the Divine just by allowing yourself the moments to experience simple pleasures that ignite delight within you. "The moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called love and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstasy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed." ~Jiddu Krishnamurti
Making it through this pandemic has been a challenge. It’s brought most of us to our knees, making us feel lost and uncertain. Although we hate to admit our frailty, we can remember that feeling like a mess can be a gift - and that we can be stronger having come through it all.
If you’ve been called too sensitive or too emotional, you may have come to believe it. But there’s a chance that there’s more going on than just being sensitive.  Perhaps you experienced events you were not able to process. You may have experienced trauma. Gabor Maté: "Trauma is not the bad things that happen to you, but what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you."
Years of feeling not good enough may have put a damper on your ability to celebrate your wins and accomplishments. But learning to celebrate wins - big or small - has an amazing way of lifting our spirits!  Kamala is celebrating 2 years of hosting this podcast (imperfectly) and encourages listeners to find some ways to celebrate even simple or mundane accomplishments, bringing more joy and enthusiasm to life today.  Schedule a short call with Kamala here: https://kamalamurphey.as.me/letsconnect
