In Episode 276 I sat down with Benden “MARGO” Margieson. His surfing career spanned through the late 80s and into the early 2000s with a style that was easy on the eyes and uniquely his own. He was one of he first “free surfers” to get paid just to surf and get photos. The original influences. However, when his surfing career ended and the office job began, he sank into a deep depression. In this episode, we talk about all the good, the bad and the ugly years and how now at 52 he is back where he belongs, in the ocean getting paid to be a free surfer.
