With topics ranging from politics, to muppets, to what sort of things will keep Evan away from your convention, The VTI guys are back, and this time you don't even have to wait a month. This week's Tenuous Grasp question is "What should Evan and Justin do to prepare for the coming apocalypse?" Shoot us your answer at vtipod@gmail.com, and if we like it we'll read it off on the next episode. As always, you can check us out on the world wide web at verythinice.podomatic.com, or subscribe to us and review us in iTunes.
Months late, and almost destroyed by a computer error that threatened the entire universe (or at least Evan's laptop), here it is: The first episode of the second season of the Very Thin Ice Podcast! Recorded using mystical Skype technology, this episode finds our heroes catching up on old times, spending way too much time on urban dictionary, and talking more than anyone would ever expect about ethnic hair. We are now listed in iTunes. Subscribe to us/Review us there!
Back, and better than ever, Evan and Justin have returned for your aural pleasure in this radio drama. In the works for more than three months, this episode heralds the coming of Very Thin Ice Season 2, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. For those who managed to follow the Secret Transmissions, when we last left our heroes they were about to launch in to space in order to save an orphanage, but that was many months ago, and no one has heard from them since. Why haven't they returned home yet? There's only one way to find out...
There is a tugging at your pant-leg. You look down, only to find a small child. He is a mess; soot all over his face. He has clearly been living on the street. He stares up at you and asks "Why? Why did they abandon us? What did we do to deserve this?" When you ask him who abandoned him, and what you can do to help, all he says is "Ask DJTron," and then he is gone. This recording is the third and final piece of found audio discovered by DJTron, telling the tale of the disappearance of Evan and Justin. It takes place after Secret Transmission 2, but before Secret Transmission 1. With these three together it is beginning to become clear where our heroes have gone off to. We can only pray for their safe return.
DJtron's continued scavenging deeper into the scrap pile which is a metaphor for our lives has unearthed an even older recording which may perhaps shed greater light on what has driven young Messrs. Rosenberg and Eisenstadt to travel on their voyage as revealed last week.
Where have our erstwhile heroes been lo these nine long months? Sure, they said that they were wrapping the show up, but when did we ever take anything that they said seriously? Mayhaps this private recording recently unearthed by DJtron during some routine scavenging will shed some light on where they have been, and what they have been doing.

In this extra long final episode, Evan and Justin are joined by returning guest Ami K Superstar for the last hurrah. Callers, cops, mystery bags, speeches, and many more surprises await you! Evan and Justin want to thank everyone who has helped, inspired, and supported them. Thanks to the people who made this show so much fun to do and thanks to you, the listener!
In this very special holiday episode, Evan and Justin find some new holidays to wage war on, reassess the holiday season, and tell delightful stories from their childhoods. Special thanks to Evan's parents for calling in for the first ever on-air Hannukah candle lighting and to Max for being our guest and for having a tenuous grasp on the English language. We apologize for the delay in putting up this episode and for the fact that the first twenty-four minutes are slightly garbled (but STILL very much worth listening to), technical difficulties that occurred during recording made editing even more fun than usual.
Evan and Justin discuss television shows they love, television shows they hate, and how much they will miss Alec Baldwin when he's gone.
