On this episode, we welcome Scott Kennedy, Scott is the owner of Light Path LED. He is on the show to discuss the benefits of red-light therapy and how it can help increase blood flow, oxygen, recovery time, and healing. On today's episode we have Hayley Kava! Hayley Kava PT, MPT, never wanted to be a pelvic floor physical therapist. She had been an athlete her whole life and thought she would work with athletes integrating postural restoration teachings her entire career. She then gave birth for the first time and realized that labor, birth and post- partum recovery was the most physically, and emotionally demanding thing she had ever done, and pelvic floors needed a lot more attention and support than they were getting. Her mission become sharing more information and spreading empowerment about how to address these common, but often taboo, issues. She created her business, social platforms and podcast in order to serve this mission to spread this information, to help ensure that no person feels alone is dealing with any pelvic floor problem. During his time at Springfield College Mike played baseball while earning his Physical Therapy degree, a time that shaped him both athletically and as a clinician. Bryan Guzski PT, DPT, OCS, MBA, CSCS is an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist practicing in Rochester, NY working primarily with patients with spine related issues and persistent pain. Bryan earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College in 2014, completed an Orthopedic residency program through Cayuga Medical Center in 2015 and received his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification, and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Simon Business School at the University of Rochester in 2021. Tim Reynolds PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anatomy & Physiology at Ithaca College and a part-time physical therapist practicing at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY where he predominately treats patients with spine or lower extremity impairments.
