Gosnells have started their very own podcast which focuses on mead, honey, yeast, fermentation and the drinks industry.
We will be speaking with some of the biggest meaderies, beekeepers, mead fans and honey aficionados from around the world about a whole host of mead related topics, from how they got started, what honey they use and what they think about the future of the industry.
The Gosnells team will be going to detail about honey and how it can create such incredible flavours and why.
Lastly, The Mead Podcast will cover home brewing and how to get started off with a mead brew at home.

We talk to Iain our previous assistant brewer who is a keen amateur beekeeper with a vast knowledge of honey and bees. We also speak with The Centre of Ecology and Hydrology about their Honey Monitoring Scheme which is a long-term programme that uses advanced analytical techniques to identify the species of plant pollen present in honey samples, this will tell us what bees are feeding on in different parts of the country and at different times of year and will help us identify possible threats to bees linked with floral resources.
