A quick update and a little bit of Aiden!
Why do I get so many compliments about how good my kids are but at home they drive me absolutely crazy?! Turns out you're probably doing something right!
Sometimes the hardest thing about dealing with emotions, stress and struggles can be listening to what your mind wants to tell you... Let's get into it.
She's back! I'm here with my lovely wife and we're going to get her view on how Aiden has progressed and some of the struggles we've dealt with in the past month or so. We'll also talk about some of the great things we've had happen over the past year, because it's never all bad.
It's me, a-myka and I'm finally taking time for myself and posting the podcast again. Let's get into what's been going on and where Aiden is at! It's been a crazy couple of years but the progress has been crazy awesome!
This may ruffle some feathers but often times there's more struggle than there is progress. There's more discontent than there is peace and there's more hurt, pain and sadness than there is joy. Lately, it's been extremely hard and not just for me. Let's get into it.
Yeah, I know it's been a few months but I'm back! Let's review the last couple months and update with how Aiden has progressed!
Yeah... it's been a positive and challenging experience to say the least.
Let's face it, we have a million different things gunning for our attention and focus everyday. How do we weed through them to find what's really deserving of our time and a effort?
It's been a rough week and a half with my family gone but I've realized a few things! With such silence and time for reflection I've found a part of who I am!
Hearing about the various tragedies happening breaks my heart. It also worries me about the future and what Aiden will face. So, what can I do about it? Let's get into it!
Obstacles can seem impossible to overcome, and there's certainly times where I've felt that. How can we turn these mountains into molehills?
It isn't as weird as you may think and I talk about something pretty personal. Again, we're letting go and moving forward!
We're on a roll with letting go! Let's keep it going and make sure we slough off the stress and anxiety!
Just the simple act of letting go has been so good for my mental health. I know that mental health is one thing that often gets forgotten and pushed to the side and it shouldn't be!
Honestly, providing praise has been one of the most influential tactics to helping Aiden learn and grow! What about when things are more frustrating? Let's get into it!
It's inevitable, someone is going to say that my kid can't do it... or that they'll never be able to accomplish that. Bull!! We've personally heard it multiple times over the last 5 years and what has Aiden done?! Incredible things!!
It's a whole new podcast! Okay... not really haha. Welcome to the Tuesday episode! Take a look at the promised document and let me know if there's more we can be doing for Aiden or if there's something you maybe haven't thought of!
Two big announcements and a brief update on how we're doing with home school!
Our family, possibly like yours, has to take certain things into consideration when doing family activities. Where will we be staying? Who is Aiden sleeping with? Can he sleep in his tent? Will there be other people around who he'll wake up? Its hard to do these things, but not impossible!
