I want to thank Craig and Abbi for guesting on this episode. A HUGE part of the reason for me even starting a podcast was to showcase the amazing creatives that I knew. They are both so wonderful and I hope to have them back in to talk more nerd stuff!

It was the start of Black History Month (in America) when a whole lot of nonsense popped off. The top two perpetrators, American Dirt by Jeaninne Cummins and whatever the heck B&N on Fifth Ave thought they were doing.
This is a highly complex and nuanced conversation that I attempt to have with all on a very miniature scale.

Throwing fear into the wood-chipper this year and doing the solo episode I've been fearing. Listen, I love talking about nerdy stuff with you guys. I binge-watch and binge-read like a motherfucker and I would love to talk with you all about it. Hopefully you enjoyed.
Shows mentioned:
☀The Circle (Netflix) - A reality show where contestants can ONLY communicate and judge based on what is put on the "The Circle" social media. Scared the piss out of me.
☀Wu Assassins (Netflix) - Kai must use his new Wu Assassin powers to save the world! If not for the glaring plot holes and inconsistencies, this show would have been GOLD.
☀KIPO (Netflix) - Kipo, a descendant of the humans that fled underground during a time of global economic and environmental unrest, finds herself above ground for the first time. So cute. I still have not finished it but, it is so cute and obviously I'm in for a wild ride.
☀Owl House (Disney) - After being told to think more "inside" the box, our main character finds herself in place full of weirdos like her. Again, mega cute and probably something I would have appreciated as a nerdy youth.

The amazingly driven Lauren Grant (CCO of Quirktastic) sits doown to talk about the Art of the Side-Hustle and the importance of finding fulfillment in whatever you choose to do for "work." She turned her side-hustle into her main gig and is thriving! Perhaps she has some tips and tricks for you to do the same.

Chris Scott is the creator of Two Ton Rock God! TTRG is a colorful, dynamic, mech-filled story full of heart that I, Neeks, highly recommend to new readers and veteran comic lovers. While the universe is vast, the characters are grounded, dealing with real life issues as well as magic Rythmech craziness.

DISCLAIMER: Both hosts are aware of how serious human trafficking is worldwide. Please do not take their occasional jesting as them taking the subject lightly. The topic was extremely sobering and laughter is the best medicine while informing themselves.
Did you know that the average work week in Germany is about 26 hours? That sounds pretty freaking sweet. Neeks and Bex go over their own workplace horror stories and past shitty bosses.
Neeks and Bex take a look at how much the dating landscape has changed since either of them have been single ladies. Put your hands up and laugh as they go through terms they have never heard about and learn about "Lizard Brain."
FEATURED: John Robinson IV and his SCORPIO comic. Check out the kickstarter, All info will be posted somewhere on the various C3 social medias.
This journey has been so amazing. With five completed episodes under our belts, we take a moment to talk about everything thus far.
Women have historically been pitted against each other as competition instead of portrayed as functioning friends for so long many now believe its impossible for women to have real friendships with other women. On this episode Neka Marie (Neeks) and Bex will be sharing their opinions on the matter. Do you agree or disagree?
This episode we give some personal accounts of what it is like to live with mental illness and how we've come to push passed the stigma and have relatively normal, happy lives. We hope this helps someone out there.
Enjoy facts oabout mental illness and how it is diagnosed in the US.
This week on the C3 Podcast we featured four fantastical fantasy authors and a very brief synopsis of how their book fits into this months theme.
Then, Bex shocks Neeks as the talk about being raised chase and denied vs informed and disinterested.
Be sure to let us know where you fell on that sex ed spectrum by contacting us on social media! We love to see it.
On this first episode of The C3 Podcast Neeks and Bex discuss whether is better to be "hungry" or "thirst" in the modeling and acting industry.
