Fearful Symmetry: Kraven's Last Hunt is considered one of the greatest Spider-Man story arcs of all time. This was the first time Kraven has taken center stage and he left an everlasting mark. How do you prove you're better than the Spider? By killing him, buring him, and taking his place. This is a psychological story showing the symmetry between man and beast, and proving the line is more grey than you might think. Collecting issues: Web of Spider-Man #31–32, The Amazing Spider-Man #293–294, and Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man #131–132 Written by: J.M. DeMatteis Art by: Mike Zeck
Following Infinite Crisis, 52 (or also called 52 weeks) is a comic series that came out weekly for 52 weeks straight to show the real time events for a year of what happens in the DC universe without the major super heroes. Many new heroes step up like Booster Gold, Black Adam, Steel, The Elongated Man, Animal Man, Starfire, The Question, and more. And with that many villains and mysterious also rise to meet them. This is the definition of Epic! with an all-star writing and art team. If you've never heard of this story before, trust me, you'll love it! Written by: Geoff Johns, Grant Morrison, Greg Rucka, Mark Waid, Dan Jugens (w/ art), and Keith Giffen (w/ Art) Art by: Joe Bennett, Chris Batista, Eddy Barrows, Todd Nauck, Darick Robertson, Ken Lashley, Phil Jimenez, and Many More
Hadrian's Wall is a gripping murder mystery thriller set in space! A disgraced former police officer takes a case millions of miles away from earth to investigate the death of his former best friend (who is also married to his ex-wife). The story unravels into chaos with hidden agendas, mysterious figures, and even a plot to destroy planets! Can Simon Moore solve the case in time, while fighting an ex-wife, suspicious characters, and a withdrawal induced ghost of the murder victim. And how many more bodies pile up before he does. Written by: Kyle Higgins and Alec Siegel Art by: Rod Reis
Infinite Frontier is the latest DC revamp event that opens up the entire multiverse with new possibilities. A new Justice League Incarnate, comprised of President Superman (Earth 23), Thomas Wayne (Flashpoint), Aquawoman (Earth 11), Captain Carrot (Earth 26), and more need to go on a multi universal rescue mission to save Barry Allen (ours). What heroes and villains from the greatest DC events will they run into, and what mysteries will they uncover along the way! I highly recommend knowing about Death Metal, Future State, Crisis of Infinite Earths, Flashpoint and basically the entire fucking DC catalogue for this epic series!  Written by: Joshua Williamson
The Avengers issue #500 is the beginning to the end of an era. The story arc known as Avengers Disassembled deconstructs the mythos that these Marvel Avengers have held for 40 years. In this story T Avengers get hit hard, and then harder again, and then even harder. Some of them die, some walk away, and one even goes full villain. And in the end the team you knew and loved will never never exist again (you know until they reboot it). Bendis starts his long and awarded Avengers run here by breaking down the foundations in order to build back more rich and full characters we all grew to love. Ep 48: Batman's Ego

Ep 48: Batman's Ego

2022-02-1217:44

Batman, Ego is a graphic novel that puts the Dark Knight in a very different light. After a mistake that cost the live of a crook and his innocent family, Bruce Wayne questions his purpose and considers stopping his crusade in Gotham. Suddenly a demonic version of Batman arrives and the two debate the validity of that very crusade. Is Batman doing everything he can, is he responsible for the villains and their victims, and ultimately does Bruce even have a choice or is his mind too fractured. The iconic art paired with the very human idea of introspection makes Ego a must read for any Batman fan. Written and Illustrated by: Darwyn Cooke
When it comes to DC's greatest moments, the New 52 is rarely up there for most people. The main complaint I've always heard is "it through away the canon." which... is kind of true. But today's episode goes over the DC Universe Rebirth and how Geoff Johns not only restored the canon, but used a cult favorite, Dr. Manhattan, to make the New 52 an important part of the DC Metaverse. We cover parts of:  The Watchmen Flashpoint New 52 DC Universe Rebirth Batman/Flash: The Button Doomsday Clock
Something Is Killing The Children is an amazing comic that mixes horror, fantasy, mystery, and action. Bruce must fight evil undead hordes while also fighting his own bloodlust. nd what becomes of his closest friends and enemies when evil finally does take over the bat?
