I don't know about you, but the more rules I made around my weight and body to lose weight, the more I used to believe that there was something wrong with me when I couldn't stick to them! Can you relate?I know - you’re smart, you’re responsible, talented and get stuff loads done - but if you keep finding yourself making choices around food that doesn’t reflect what you want, it might be that you're going about making weight loss resolutions and losing weight with too much structure, leading to deprivation and overeating. You need a new process! You need new steps for change. You need steps that actually help you understand how the habit works. In this episode, let's talk about starting your weight loss journey from a place of curiosity alongside new tools and strategies to unlock what's at the core of your overeating and emotional eating patterns. That’s why it’s so beneficial to have someone by your side. To have someone who can help you, and show you, and give you insight into something that you may not be able to see. That’s what the work that I do is all about. My job is to train you and help you unlock this overeating and emotional eating food piece that’s been so difficult for you. The next workshop I’m offering inside of ThinWithin Life for members is called – Facing Your Food Triggers In this workshop i’m going to -1. Teach you why you’ve created your overeating and emotional eating behaviors.2. Which external trigger types are getting in the way of you losing weight.3. Break Free from These Four Common Overeating Thought Patterns On today’s episode, I want to cover four extremely common thought patterns that may be responsible for any overeating you might been experiencing.   This month inside of ThinWithin Life we are looking at moving through plateaus and you will notice that some of these thoughts  are responsible for overeating, leading to extra weight.   I want you to listen and see if one or more, or maybe all of them, are contributing to how much you’re eating.   The reason why I’m sharing this, is when you look at your relationship with food, and you look at how much you consume, maybe the quantity that you’re consuming isn’t about food but due to a deeper need inside of you. I don't know about you, but I'm obsessed with documentaries (feel free to let me know your favorites) and today I was just watching the documentary Game Changers. In this documentary, there's very convincing evidence to become vegan or change your diet to a plant-based diet.I have also researched numerous other diets over the years (as I'm sure you have too) telling you to juice, the benefit of eating only meat, etc. Yet, the number of people struggling with weight continues to climb.  The diet industry often focuses on the superhuman athlete, vs. the regular person, like you and me, who want to live in a healthy and vibrant body and be normal with food.Today I will show two ways you can take action that will actually get you results if you're an emotional eater, binge eater, suck at dieting, etc. Hosted on Acast.
