VGK had no pulse in Sunday's loss in Pittsburgh. The Golden Knights gave up five goals including two on the power play in a 5-0 loss.  We'd like to blame the goaltending, but there was no offense to speak of either.  The Golden Knights gave up the first of three goals in the second period.  Mark Stone, VGK's captain, was injured in what didn't look like much of a collision with Kris LeTang of the Pens.  Stone didn't return and we feel he could have aggravated a previous injury.  Adin Hill continued to struggle in net.  He has the worst slot save percentage in the league.  We also recap the loss in Washington, Friday to former Golden Knight Logan Thompson and the Caps 3-2.    VGK fell behind 3-0 which drew the ire of Bruce Cassidy, who said everyone needs to step up.  We also discuss Olympic Fatigue.  Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. VGK travels to D.C. and Pittsburgh this weekend.  We are expect to see the return of all five Olympians to the Golden Knights lineup.  Jack Eichel and Noah Hanifin were seen skating in Washington yesterday.  Mitch Marner, Mark Stone and Shea Theodore will be back after missing Wednesday night's game in L.A. VGK sent Tanner Laczynski, Dylan Coghlan and Kai Uchaiz back to the Silver Knights.  VGK could face former goalie Logan Thompson and the Capitals.  Thompson now has 20 wins for a fourth consecutive season.  We could also see the return of Olympian Tom Wilson in D.C.  The Capitals are four points back of a playoff spot.  Sunday's game against the improved Penguins should be a test for VGK.  The Pens are in second place in their division.  They are bidding to make it into the playoffs for the first time in four years.  Sidney Crosby remains out for the next month after an MCL injury sustained in Milan.  We also have our WTF segment. Playing with mostly reserves in the lineup, VGK had a five-goal outburst in the third period enroute to a 6-4 victory in L.A. against the Kings.  The Golden Knights played without Jack Eichel, Noah Hanifin, Mitch Marner, Shea Theodore and Mark Stone - a bulk of their scoring - as they recover from Olympic fatigue.  It was a total team effort for VGK.  Pavel Dorofeyev scored twice and complimentary scoring came from unlikely sources such as Branden Saad, Colton Sissons and Reilly Smith.  The Golden Knights played a more aggressive offensive game and didn't allow odd-man rushes.  We discuss whether the depth scoring will be here to stay.  Tanner Laczynski had three assists for VGK in the game and could earn more playing time in a reserve role.  We also discuss Pavel Dorofeyev's contributions and what makes him so lethal on the power play - now the franchise season record holder with 15 goals on the man advantage.  Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. VGK has scratched Jack Eichel and Noah Hanifin, Gold Medalists on the Victory Tour, from Wednesday's game in L.A.  Bruce Cassidy returned to coach his team Tuesday and sounded doubtful that Team Canada's Mitch Marner, Mark Stone and Shea Theodore would be in the lineup against the division rivals.  Cassidy cited the long term health of his team.  Eichel and Hanifin will join VGK in D.C. Friday.  VGK recalled Dylan Coghlin, Tanner Laczynski and Kai Uchacz from Henderson to fill some gaps. Las Vegas is bidding to host the 2028 World Cup of Hockey. We have a debate about balancing post-Olympic celebrations and NHL responsibilities. The U.S. Men's hockey team hopes to strike gold for the first time since the 1980 Miracle on Ice team this weekend.  The USA team faces Slovakia while Canada should have its hands full with the defending champions, Finland.  The winners advance to Sunday's gold medal finale.  Team Canada will probably be without Sid Crosby, who netted the Golden Goal in the 2010 Gold Final vs the U.S. in overtime.  We congratulate the USA Women's team after they captured Gold Thursday in a 2-1 overtime thriller over Team Canada.  Megan Keller scored the game-winner for the U.S. Team.  The United States women's team has dominated Team Canada with wins in four rivalry series games leading up to the Games.  And, they defeated Canada twice in the Olympics.  Plus our WTF segment.  Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. The Golden Knights Mitch Marner had his biggest moment on the Olympic stage by potting the game winner in Canada's 4-3 overtime win over Czechia.  Meanwhile, Team USA also escaped a loss by knocking off Sweden in overtime on a Quinn Hughes rocket from the point, 2-1.  Dylan Larkin scored the other goal for the US.  Canada now meets defending champion Finland and Team USA will play Slovakia.  The top four seeds advanced.  These are the same finalists as in 2010 in Vancouver and Sidney Crosby led the Canadians to a 2-1 overtime victory over USA.  VGK's Mark Stone said after Marner's game-winning performance Wednesday that when Team Canada needed Marner most, he made the play.  "So I think it's a Toronto thing," he added responding to negativity about Marner from some Leafs fans.
