This week, we are back with part 2 of a “…Shoulda Been Huge!!!” episode for Halifax, NS, Canada’s very own: SLOAN! We covered the years 1992-2001 back in Ep. 348; this time we bring you up to date with releases from 2003 to 2025. Sloan is the quintessential Canadian power-pop act—that blends '70s hard rock riffs, Beatles-esque vocal harmonies, and indie rock grit has won them gold albums and a Juno in their home country. We think it is a grave mistake that they are not as revered everywhere in the world!This episode is rooted in our Should Have Been category. This is a band that Kevin has been a fan of since discovering their first album back in 1993.
