LinkedIn profile tips for coaches, consultants, and service professionals who want more control over the first impression their profile makes. In this episode of Entrepreneur Rescue Mission, we cover two LinkedIn profile updates you need to know about. First, the Add section button has a new, simpler layout. We walk through the seven main sections, what lives under More, and how to decide which sections are worth adding to your profile. Then we cover an older feature most people have never touched. In your Activity section, one content type is highlighted in green, and that's what visitors see first. You'll learn how to change it to posts, videos, images, newsletters, or events, and why it's worth testing different options and checking your analytics.Ready to turn your LinkedIn profile into a real sales tool? If LinkedIn feels overwhelming, you're not alone. There's a lot you could be doing, and it's easy to stay busy without seeing real business growth. In this episode, we keep it simple. Three activities, done consistently, that build your network, start more conversations, and create more opportunities for your business.Connect. Send at least 15 connection requests a day, Monday through Friday, to potential ideal clients and referral partners. Without new connections, you can't grow your visibility, your reach, or your leads.Converse. Reach out to 5 people a day. It doesn't have to be complicated. Welcome a new connection, send a birthday or work anniversary message, or thank someone for voting in your poll. Growing a business is a contact sport, and you can't wait for people to come to you.Create. Publish 3 pieces of thought leadership content a week. When someone gets your message, they check your profile to see what you're about. Your content is what gets them to reply.Whether you're doing one of these, none of them, or used to do all three and got away from it, this is your reminder to get back to it.If this episode helped, follow the show on Spotify so you never miss a new episode on LinkedIn strategy, thought leadership, and growing your business.FREE GUIDE: OPTIMIZE YOUR LINKEDIN PROFILEA simple PDF that walks you through your LinkedIn profile section by section. LinkedIn's algorithm is changing how your content gets seen. In this episode, we break down the three biggest updates coaches, consultants, and service professionals need to know right now.First, LinkedIn collaborative posts. You can now publish a post with up to five collaborators, so it shows up in their networks, not just yours. We walk through how to add collaborators on desktop and mobile, how it's different from tagging, and why you should always ask before adding someone.Second, LinkedIn's feed is getting smarter. Specific content beats broad content, relevance matters more than follower count, and talking about the same topics consistently is how you get known for them. It's old to you, but it's new to someone else.Third, AI content is getting a closer look. We explain LinkedIn's new AI slop flag, what happens if one of your posts gets flagged, and how to use AI to support your voice instead of replacing it.In this episode:How LinkedIn collaborative posts work and who to collaborate with. Why collaborating reaches more people than tagging. How LinkedIn's feed decides who sees your content. Why repeating your core message helps you grow. What the AI slop flag does, and how to keep your content human.Ready to turn LinkedIn into a real client acquisition tool?If you've been posting without a plan or unsure how to turn connections into real opportunities, this is your reset. Stop adding notes to your LinkedIn connection requests. The advice used to be that a personalized note gets you accepted more often. That was true when almost nobody was doing it. Now the note is the fastest way to look like every other pitch sitting in someone's notifications. In this episode, we read real connection requests that landed in our inbox this month, explain why not one of them earns a reply, and cover what to do instead.Inside this episode:Why a pitch inside a connection request never worksThe three situations where a note actually makes sense, with word for word examplesWhy LinkedIn now limits how many personalized notes you can sendThe message to send the moment someone accepts, and what to never sendWhy the goal of a connection request is not the saleJoin us for the Amateur to Expert on LinkedIn Intensive, 5 live days, September 28 through October 2, 12 to 1 PM EDT. Being visible on LinkedIn and being trusted on LinkedIn are two different things. Most coaches and consultants are already posting consistently. What they are not getting is the call, the referral, or the reply that turns into business. That is not a posting problem. It is an authority problem. In this episode we walk through the LinkedIn Authority Formula, three parts that work together.Give value before you ask, so your content stands completely on its own. Build a content ecosystem, so people have somewhere to go after they read you. Become known for something specific, so people can describe you when you are not in the room. The goal was never viral content. It is being known, trusted, and remembered by the right people.Ready to turn LinkedIn into a real client acquisition tool?Join us for the Amateur to Expert on LinkedIn Intensive, 5 live days, September 28 through October 2, 12 to 1 PM EDT.
