Jesus Sets Men Free

Jesus Sets Men Free

In our modern world that often dismisses spiritual realities, we must understand that spiritual warfare remains very real and active today. Satan, originally known as Lucifer, was once a high-ranking angel who fell from heaven due to pride and rebellion against God. Now operating as the serpent, dragon, devil, and destroyer, he holds significant influence over world systems and actively works to blind unbelievers from seeing the gospel truth. His ultimate goal is always destruction - to steal, kill, and destroy everything good in people's lives, including homes, marriages, and testimonies. Our culture has become increasingly fascinated with darkness through entertainment, games, and media that draw from occult sources. Parents face unprecedented challenges as online gaming platforms and social media expose children to dangerous influences, including predatory groups that use grooming, blackmail, and coercion tactics. These spiritual dangers require vigilant protection, as parents have both the right and responsibility to monitor their children's electronic activities. The world's solutions - imprisonment, medication, or counseling alone - cannot address spiritual problems because they fail to deal with the root cause. However, Jesus Christ demonstrates complete authority over all demonic forces. When He encountered the demon-possessed man living among tombs in constant torment, Jesus simply spoke and the demons immediately obeyed. The transformation was complete and visible - the man went from chaos to sitting peacefully, from nakedness to being clothed with dignity, and from madness to being in his right mind. This supernatural change could only come through Christ's power, not human effort. True freedom, peace, and clarity are available today through faith in Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and rose from the grave to set people free from Satan's influence.
Why We Worship Christ

Why We Worship Christ

2026-02-0347:53

Worship is fundamentally about ascribing worth to God, not just singing songs or attending church. God created humans with an innate desire to worship, and when we direct this worship toward Him rather than ourselves or other things, our lives function as designed. The downward spiral described in Romans 1 shows what happens when people turn from worshiping God to worshiping created things instead. We should worship Jesus because He created us to worship, commanded us to love Him with all our being, uses our worship for His purposes, takes pleasure in our reverence, and allows us to proclaim Him to others through authentic worship. This week, identify one area of your life where you may be ascribing more worth to something or someone than to God. Make a conscious effort to realign your priorities by spending extra time in prayer and Bible reading, and look for at least one opportunity to boldly share your faith or give thanks to God in a public setting.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNBl6bpI_3c
Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the cross stands as the greatest act of love in history, distinguished by His perfect, sinless life and pure blood. Unlike any other sacrifice, Jesus lived 33 years without sin and possessed incorruptible blood through His divine conception. His death was necessary because all humanity has sinned and fallen short of God's glory, requiring a perfect payment for redemption. God provided this solution through Christ, who became the propitiation for our sins. As believers, we must respond by following His pattern of suffering, pursuing sanctification, and embracing self-sacrifice in our daily lives.Application:This week, identify one area of your life where you can practice self-sacrifice for the benefit of others or for God's glory. This could be giving up some personal time to serve someone in need, choosing to forgive someone who has wronged you, or making a financial sacrifice to help others. Follow through with this act of sacrifice and reflect on how it helps you understand Christ's sacrifice more deeply.
Jeremiah's 40-year ministry during Israel's final decades teaches us about faithful service despite overwhelming opposition. Called as a young man to deliver God's warning of judgment, Jeremiah faced constant rejection, persecution from religious leaders, and lived a life of sacrifice including being forbidden to marry. Though no one repented and his message was ignored, Jeremiah maintained both courage and compassion, earning him the title of the weeping prophet. His life demonstrates that God calls the unqualified and equips them for His purposes. True success is measured not by worldly results but by faithfulness to God's calling, even when it brings hardship and rejection.
Life often overwhelms us with burdens that feel impossible to carry - physical pain, emotional struggles, and professional setbacks that leave us feeling weak and incapable. The Bible calls these moments infirmities, times when we lack the strength to accomplish what we desire. Many people turn to various sources for help, but only Jesus truly understands our deepest needs. As our great High Priest, Jesus serves as a sensitive Savior who hears our cries, cares about our pain, and actively helps us in our time of need. Unlike the Old Testament system where only the high priest could access God, Jesus tore down the barrier between us and the Father, giving us direct access to the throne of grace.
O' What A Saviour

In Revelation 5, a search takes place throughout heaven and earth for someone worthy to open a sealed scroll representing the title deed to creation. No one is found worthy, causing John to weep bitterly. This search reveals humanity's desperate need for redemption after Adam lost dominion over earth to Satan through disobedience. Jesus Christ alone qualifies as worthy because He meets the requirements of a kinsman redeemer - having both the right relationship through His incarnation and the right resources as God. Through His virgin birth, He avoided inheriting Adam's sinful nature while becoming fully human. Only His precious blood can purchase our redemption from spiritual bondage.
Acts 20:24 “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”

Jeremiah 38:6-9 6 Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire. 7 Now when Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs which was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin; 8 Ebedmelech went forth out of the king's house, and spake to the king saying, 9 My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for hunger in the place where he is: for there is no more bread in the city.
