The babies are back, kicking off Season 2 with Satoshi Kon's Christmas classic Tokyo Godfathers!   We discuss abandonment, serendipity, and the true spirit of Christmas.  

Season 1 finale!  The babies are back, this time discussing Kunihiko Ikuhara's 2019 surreal dramedy Sarazanmai.  "The world is facing another challenge right now, is it connected or is it not?"  Are love and desire mutually exclusive avenues of connection, or are they interwoven throughout all of our relationships?  The gang tackles these questions while experiencing their own troubles connecting via spotty WiFi and socially distanced malaise, but nothing can get in the way of a group of pals dishing over a cocktail.   

The Cry Babies are back for another episode recorded from quarantine, this time braving spotty bandwidth to huddle in the controversy corner discussing Tatsuya Egawa's classic ecchi-comedy Golden Boy (1995).  They're talking badass babes, labor, and the life of the wandering student!  

On this episode the Babies get heated over Kenji Nagasaki's 2011 series No.6, with Olivia fanning the flames of controversy corner while Lucifer and Le Petit Prince defend Nezumi's honor.  Conversations about liminality, trust issues, and magical rainbow wasps.   *Please note: This is the last of the episodes recorded pre-quarantine.*
