Welcome Squatchers to the end of Spooktober. Its been a spooky road with killers, ghosts, witches, aliens, and other scary things and it all came down to this final episode for this season of Spooktober: Halloween. Unlike the other episodes we wanted to more talk during this review but it didn't stop Michael Myers from coming up and trying to stab us! As an instant classic to follow Psycho up with we got what we wanted in this movie: dumb teenagers, bloody deaths, and a killer who is relentless! We also took a moment to be humble and thank all of you who have stayed with us for an entire year and then further discussed what was coming up in November for our uploads so you don't come after us like Leatherface, Ghostface, or Michael Myers; we have plenty coming in the pipeline leading up to our next season of content "The Christmas Tree Lot of Reviews". So come with us and make sure you lock all the doors behind you and turn on the lights as we discuss Halloween! Happy Halloween everyone! BOO!

This is also part the Trick to the Treat trick or treat Halloween special as we later review the movie that started this whole series Halloween so sit back relax enjoy some candy and come with us into the spooky woods! BOO!
Psycho

$40,000 in 1960 was about $377,000 in today's market...would you take the cash and spend the night at the Bates motel? In this vintage classic episode big Chungus and I watched an American horror classic; considered to be the first slasher film with commercial success: Psycho. $40,000 in cash, anxiety and a new car are just some of the things in this movie that we discuss. So sign the ledger for your night at the Bates motel and don't have your back turned in the shower to Psycho!
The Sasquatch Podcast runs on caffeine squatchers so we're no strangers to staying up late... especially if there is a nightmares hoping killer waiting for us to fall asleep! A nightmare on elm Street was and still is a classic for Halloween spooks and scares; what's scarier a dream you can't wake up from or a dream you wont wake up from? Oooooooooo 👻👻👻. So crack open an energy drink, put on your favorite Podcast hosts and try not to have us out you to sleep as we review A Nightmare on Elm Street!
What is it with teens and cars and going to places in the middle of nowhere that always gets them into trouble with crazy psychos??? After watching the classic Texas Chainsaw Massacre Big Chungus and I have come to a conclusion about Texas gas station bbq and good ol slashers. One of our favorites during this time of year with a even more terrifying killer the Texas chainsaw massacre was a fantastic movie to review! So sit back grab some BBQ and join us as we review this super crazy slasher classic!
The Evil Dead

The Evil Dead

2020-10-1231:49

Maybe listening to someone reading demonic incantations in a creepy cabin was a bad idea? Big Chungus and I decided to watch a horror movie classics The evil dead and came out of it wondering what we had just saw. Join us as we read about the book of the dead, find a different road out of the woods and maybe go crazy after all our friends turn to crazy demonic zombies! As ash would go on to say..."Groovy"
Pet Cemetary

Pet Cemetary

2020-10-0933:01

Maybe it's my inner cat person but the cat seems fine he didn't come back all murderous and evil and...oh wait... Spooktober is in full swing squatchers and in this episode we took a look at the classic Steven King book mademovie. While a pet cemetery is a wonderful thing to have after our fur babies move on it's probably not a good idea when they come back evil or more cat like? Either way we hope you're enjoying Spooktober as much as we are so enjoy our review of Pet cemetery! Oh and remember 3rd times the charm 😉
Scream

Scream

The 90's called and said it wants to play a game on the phone about your favorite horror movie, you'd better play along unless you want to you know: get gutted like a fish! In this spooky fun slasher episode we take a look at a truly amazing slasher classic Scream from 1996; some of you may not have even been born! With tons of blood and counter horror clichés in it this movie really made us scream. Come with us squatchers and take a trip down memory lane to the sweet sweet days of gnarly flannel and wicked scares and remember to never hang up on ghost face! And don't worry, we aren't the killers...you can trust us...we're too obvious.
Friday the 13th

Friday the 13th

2020-10-0238:52

Welcome to Spooktober squatchers! It's finally time for some Halloween slasher horror movie classics!A trip into the woods at a nice crystal clear lake? Sounds like a nice place to visit squatchers...if you don't mind the brutal killings and lack of decent camp counselors! Friday the 13th is a classic in the slasher flicks of Halloween time movies even though it takes place at summer camp. We hope you enjoy this fun first entry into our Spooktober series! And don't worry we won't let you drown in too much fear...
The Invisible Man

The Invisible Man

Big Chungus? Where'd you go?....BIG CHUNGUS!?!?…almost like he went invisible! Welcome back Squatchers and in this episode we are reviewing one of our favorite horror thriller movies : " The Invisible Man". This movie really surprised us. Its hard to say when the last time we actually were on the edge of our seats over a thriller shouting out to the main girl that she shouldn't do that. We have to say it was a great ride and definitely recommend watching! So get comfy put on some headphones and enjoy this final episode of "The Road To Spooktober"! season 1.         We wanted to take a moment and thank everyone who has tuned in for our "Road To Spooktober" series. This series wouldn't have the energy and passion without all of you the listeners! We have had a an amazingly fun time watching recording this series for you all and hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it for you! Starting October we will be focused fully on our Spooktober series; scary Halloween movie classics all leading up to Halloween with a special 2 episode surprise on Halloween! Witches in The Woods

Witches in The Woods

2020-09-2524:12

BRRRRRRRR it sure is cold out here in the woods, maybe we could tell stories about the legend of some witches in the woods..? In this episode squatchers we took a look at a half baked psychological horror film "Witches in the Woods". Definitely not our favorite movie or one we would recommend so we took the task of going deep into the spooky Massachusetts woods for you so you don't have to. We hope this shorter episode helps keep you sane as we try to see through the bs that is "Witches in the Woods".
The Void

The Void

2020-09-2225:17

Welcome back squatchers to "The Road to Spooktober"! This episode is a shorter one this time because we give it the Sasquatch seal of approval! Canada has some great things like Whistler mountain, maple syrup, hockey, Tim Hortens and apparently Void worshipping cultist hell bent on making everyone into horrible monsters. Honestly we can say that without a doubt this is on our favorite movies list for scary movies and we highly recommend you go watch the movie! Grab a fire axe, and a flashlight cause we are gonna kill that doctor!
Hell Fest!

Hell Fest!

Well buckle up and lets go win a some tickets and visit some haunted houses in this exciting new episode.  Pop goes the thrill seeking young adults in this true Halloween slasher flick. BOO!
Jeepers Creepers

Jeepers Creepers

2020-09-1233:31

Welcome back squatchers to another spooky episode of Road To Spooktober!. Jeepers creepers oh boy this one was a hard watch; no gore no real jump scares and a sad excuse at caring brother sister road trip. Jester and I watched this "horror" movie so you the viewers dont have to because we really wished we hadnt. I think the scariest part of this movie was learning that its a trilogy! So sit back relax get your grandma and arm her with a shotgun and enjoy our lowest entry into our Road T Spooktober series.
Carrie (1976)

Carrie (1976)

2020-09-0837:51

Welcome back to Road to Spooktober squatchers! In our second episode of Road to Spooktober we decided it was time for us to vote for the original scream queen teen Carrie for prom queen! We really hope that doesn't come back to haunt us...As one of the classic Stephen King movie adaptations it sure is true to his style of horror and intensity. Although it is an older horror film it definitely stands up against the best of them for its way of making us feel uneasy and afraid of her powers...So grab some popcorn, brush off your prom outfit and prepare to see revenge like no other in this absolute banger of a classic.
The Blair Witch

The Blair Witch

2020-09-0235:16

Hey Squatchers, welcome to the first episode of our spooky series Road to Spooktober! In this episode we dive deep into the back country woods of Burkittsville Maryland where the supposed Blair witch can be found. As one if not the first of the "Found Footage" horror movies it stands as a cult classic. It set the stage for tv and film series alike to have viewers feel like they are seeing the last known accounts of the cameraman. We have to say squatchers, you are in for a real treat on this exciting first episode of Road to Spooktober. We'll be watching Halloween classics and scary movies leading up to a special Halloween episode premiering on Halloween. So sit back relax dont lose the map and enjoy our first episode of Road to Spooktober!
The Last Airbender

The Last Airbender

2020-08-2527:57

Water....Earth....Fire....Air....long ago the four nations lived in harmony; then everything changed when M Night Shyamalan got the chance to work on Avatar The Last Airbender. Not even the Avatar, master of all four elements could save this train wreak from the clutches of rotten tomatoes as it sits at a mere 5%. We watched the entire movie for you Squatchers so you don't have to...now we must fufill our destinies as the chosen ones to talk and review The last Airbender and take on The evil Fire....I mean Shymalan nation and save the world!
Not even Mark Walberg can escape the wrath of another Michael Bay over the top action movie...that somehow makes Optimus Prime the bad guy??? We all like to make jokes about the way MB makes over the top action movies with way too many explosions and big robots fighting but this movie really drags the series to an all time low. Join us on a back and fourth confusing joy ride into the fifth installment of Transformers.
Dragonball Evolution

Dragonball Evolution

2020-08-1736:38

Another one of our really bad movie reviews...god this one really sucks. Goku and Bulma must find the dragonballs to save earth from King Piccalo only this time they should really be using the dragonballs power to save all of us from having to see a wonderful manga series butchered by bad acting, awful script and even worse adaptive care for an amazing manga anime series.
