If you’re like me and grew up in the public school system, you may have been taught that language, reality, and truth are merely subjective. That there is no true meaning and therefore, no true values, and purpose in life. This is the philosophical illusion that most modern Westerners are born into without even knowing it. In C.S. Lewis’ book, The Abolition of Man, he attacks that very subjectivist philosophical system. But he doesn’t begin his argument in a way that you may expect, in fact, he starts his abolition of subjectivism by discussing a particular green textbook that, in his time, was being used to teach children this dangerous postmodern philosophy. Lewis goes on to explain that men who adhere to this philosophy and adopt all of its inconsistencies don’t merely exist in a constant state of confusion – no, they actually cease to men altogether. He says that this ideology actually leads to a full-on abolition of man – the end of humanity itself. But to understand what Lewis is trying to tell us modern people, you need to read his book along with another book written by the Oxford professor, Dr. Michael Ward – author of Planer Narnia and many other books and actor in a James Bond film, The World Is Not Enough. His book, After Humanity is a guide to CS Lewis’s The Abolition of Man. So, I had a conversation with Dr. Ward about Lewis, technology, postmodernism, Artificial Intelligence, contraceptives, and logical positivism. We discussed what happens when man denies objective reality and forfeits his nature and purpose and we ask the daunting and pressing question of the modern age: What comes After Humanity? After Humanity - Michael Ward Sign up for my newsletter and never miss an episode: https://www.orthodoxyandorder.comFollow me on X: https://x.com/andyschmitt99Email me at andy@optivnetwork.com with your questions!Music: "nesting" by Birocratic (http://birocratic.lnk.to/allYL)
Over the past year Jew hatred has become a massive trend not just among liberals, but also among self-proclaimed “conservatives” like Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, and Nick Fuentes. If you listen to them, you probably think the “Jews” are secretly running our society and controlling out lives. You may be convinced of the arguments made by those on the far right about isolationism and Christian Nationalism, whatever that is, and about how Americans need to stay completely out of the rest of the world are thoughtful and legitimate. You may have heard theological, philosophical, and political arguments for these things. But you would be wrong. In fact, you would be missing the whole point of what these bad faith actors like Tucker and Candace are actually doing. What their actual goal is. But Rebeccah Heinrich hasn’t missed the point. In fact, she wrote a piece for The Free Press last summer called “The Right’s 1939 Project” in which she dismantles the arguments made by self-proclaimed Conservative Christians like Tucker, Candace, and Fuentes and compares their post World War 2 revisionist history to the infamous 1619 project from the New York Times in 2019. Rebeccah then, later on, wrote a piece on the National Review about why Christians should support Israel. It’s my opinion that Rebeccah is one of the only people in Conservative circles who is seeing the whole problem facing our culture and calling it out for what it is. And so, this is my conversation with Rebeecah Heinrich – I hope you enjoy! Christians Should Defend the Jewish People - Rebeccah HeinrichsThe Right’s 1939 Project - Rebeccah Heinrichs Sign up for my newsletter and never miss an episode: https://www.orthodoxyandorder.comFollow me on X: https://x.com/andyschmitt99Email me at andy@optivnetwork.com with your questions!Music: "nesting" by Birocratic (http://birocratic.lnk.to/allYL)
In 1943 a group of high society anti-Nazi’s from Germany met together to discuss ways in which they could defy the Nazi regime and rebuild Germany after the war. What they didn’t know is that at that meeting there was a spy. Someone who would betray them all. In Jonathan Freedland’s new book, The Traitors Circle, he tells this unknown story of those within the Nazi regime that chose to give up everything to defy and disrupt Hitler’s plans. Why? Well, it’s not as clear cut as you could imagine. In fact, most of these anti-Nazi’s could have stayed silent, looked the other way, and remained comfortable in their high society lives until the war was over. But they didn’t. In my conversation with Jonathan Freedland, we talked about what or who could convince a group of men and women who did not need to give their lives up to sacrifice for the ultimate good of not only Germany, but the world. Zohran Mamdani was just elected to be the next Mayor of New York City. How did an anti-American, anti-Capitalism, anti-Jew, anti-Western millennial become the most powerful person in the largest city in the United States? I wanted to know. So, I talked with Zineb Riboua – a research fellow with Hudson Institute’s Center for Peace and Security in the Middle East. She’s written extensively on the Middle East and the ongoing power struggles in one of the most violent and unstable regions in the world. But what does Middle Eastern politics have to do with New York City and Zohran Mamandi? Zineb argues that the ideology that led the Left to believe that Israel and Britian were the fundamentally evil powers in Europe and the Middle East because of their “colonialization” is the same ideology that Zohran used to capture the attention and votes of the suicidal Democratic ideologues in New York City. The younger generations white colonialization guilt and Third Worldism philosophy were key factors in Zohrans ability to manipulate the American people in the largest city in the country to vote for a self-proclaimed Marxist Socialist. So, what happens to New York City next? Will it sprout into a utopia or fall into oblivion? Here’s my conversation with Zineb Riboua. The End Of America.

The End Of America.

Nick Fuentes, Ben Shapiro, Tucker Carlson, and Elon Musk. What do all of those names have in common? An utter lack of virtue and theological direction. Why? Because they play Marxist power games and refuse to deal with the core, fundamental problems our society faces — instead, they spend their time fighting to control the narrative and build artificial gods and platforms. And what happens when a society is filled with wickedness and immorality? Chaos. The beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic started almost five years ago. You would think that in five years we would know more about what actually happened leading up to the pandemic and why, during the pandemic so many of our medical “experts” were so wrong about so many different things. If you remember, the legacy media publicly humiliated people who were using ivermectin and doctors who were giving it to their sick and almost dying patients. Mary Talley Bowden was one of those doctors. She was publicly shamed by some of the largest media outlets in the world for trying to give ivermectin to a patient who was dying during the pandemic. For doing so, she lost certain medical privileges and has been continuously investigated by the Texas Medical Board. This saga has culminated, in the past week, in a public reprimand (and who know what that even means) of Mary. You might be wondering what the goal of this reprimand is? Well, to put it simply, it’s to destroy her career and reputation for speaking truth against the medical regime during the COVID pandemic. They want her silenced. Who is they? You’ll be surprised to learn that the man leading the Texas Medical Board is none other than Republican Governor of Texas, Gregg Abbott. I thought the Republicans were the ones fighting against the authoritarians and oligarchs who tried to kill millions of people and control our lives during COVID – I guess I was wrong.Mary has spent years of her life fighting for her and your medical freedom. She’s spent $250,000 on legal fees and has persevered through public humiliation because she believes what was done during COVID was immoral and evil. This is my interview with Mary Talley Bowden. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Trump Administration have talked quite a bit about the fact that there is a 400% increase in autism rates in children up to 8 years old between 2000 and 2022. They claim that in America we’ve gone from 1 in 150 children having autism to 1 in 31 children having autism. This spike in autism rates has had its effect on millions of families across the country and has raised serious questions related to the food we eat, the vaccines we take, and the medicine we consume on a regular basis. And now RFK Jr. announced that Tylenol, when taken late in pregnancy, is connected to the rise in autism rates. This announcement brought about a frenzy of reaction from left wing and right wing media outlets and liberal lunatics on TikTok.Much of the liberal mainstream media claimed that RFK Jr. was a quack conspiracy theorist who has no business lecturing the American people on health and medicine. And the liberals on TikTok thought it best to stick it to the Trump administration by downing as much Tylenol as humanly possible while pregnant. But aside from what the liberal regime is saying, I wanted to know more about this new study that the White House released and its legitimacy. I want to know if Tylenol causes autism or is only associated with autism. So, I reached out to Dr. Peter McCullough. You may know him from the days of COVID in 2020. Dr. McCullough was one of a few doctors across America who challenged the mainstream narrative related to the COVID Vaccine’s and treatments. His career and his reputation were publicly condemned and ridiculed for this. To this day Wikipedia says that “McCullough has promoted misinformation and conspiracy theories about COVID-19, its treatments, and mRNA vaccines.” Now THAT statement is an objective lie.Dr. McCullough was willing to put his life’s work on the line during COVID and challenge the mainstream narrative, and he was right about everything he said. I thought it would be interesting to hear from Dr. McCullough about the new White House initiatives related to autism and their approach to learning about the autism epidemic. Are RFK Jr and his team actually just liars and conspiracy theorists? Or is the America Medical Industry stuck in a downward spiral of political ideological capture and a denial of facts and truth? Here’s my interview with Dr. Peter McCullough. I hope you enjoy. In this episode I talked with a Free Press reporter, Josh Code. He recently wrote an article on the persecution of Christians in Nigeria. In this article he interviewed a Christian man in Nigeria who was taken captive by Muslims and beaten for his participation in helping two women escape from their hometown after converting from Islam to Christianity. We talked about the American Government’s response to the Christian persecution in Nigeria and why this persecution is even happening in the first place. We finally discussed the problems with liberal Christianity and what the story of persecution in Nigeria can teach Christians in the West. In this episode, I talked with Tanya Lukyanova from The Free Press. Tanya is a video journalist who grew up in Russia and is now living in the United States. She has reported on Russia’s authoritarian decline from her home country and has reported on the war in Israel. Two weeks ago she released a video about a viral story that was dominating headlines related to the war in Israel — the story was about a young Gazan boy who was supposedly murdered in cold blood by the Israeli Defense Forces. This story, created by Anthony “Tony” Aguilar was given legitimacy by mainstream media like MSNBC, CNN, and even Tucker Carlson. The only problem was that Anthony Aguilar made the story up out of thin air. The supposed murdered child was found weeks later and confirmed alive. Tanya reported on this for The Free Press and revealed that the entire story was blown up out of proportion for propagandistic purposes. This conversation begins with Tanya discussing her reporting on Russia and her upbringing in Russia. She explains how the country has changed in her lifetime and how Putin is thinking through the war in Ukraine. We also talked about what the government needs to do, if anything, when media outlets are lying on purpose to conjure up paranoia and support for anti-American ideology and enemies. I hope you enjoy! In this episode I talk about what you should do if your pastors fails to talk about Charlie Kirk. I discuss what is happening in the political realm and why the extremists on the political Right and Left are both pushing narratives about the assassination of Charlie Kirk that are beneficial to their liberal ideology. I also discuss what you should do if your pastor lectured you in 2020 about your inherent racism in light of the death of a fentanyl addict, George Floyd, but refuses to talk about the Evangelist, Charlie Kirk. In this episode I talked with Larry Sanger. As you may know, Larry is the Co-Founder of Wikipedia and a recent convert to Christianity. Sanger has his PhD in Philosophy from Ohio State University and created Wikipedia’s first introduction pages and home page when the company started in the early 2000s. In recent years, Sanger has been outspoken against Wikipedia and its politically liberal bias. In his announcement of his conversion, he made it clear that he had not chosen a denomination and was not actively a member of any particular church or denomination. In our conversation, Larry and I talked about his most recent announcement that he is joining the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA). We discussed how he came to the conclusion that the ACNA was the best Church for him to join, how he studied many different denominations on his journey to Anglicanism, and what criteria he used to guide his search for a church. This is an important conversation as Sanger gives a thorough breakdown of his logical and philosophical method of studying both the Bible and church history on his way to the Anglican Church. In this episode, I begin a short series based on the book by Thomas Nettles, In the Midst of the Years: A History of Reformation and Revival in America. There is much confusion in the modern age related to what revival is and how we can discern when a movement is of God is truly of God. In this book, Nettles travels through the history of reformation and revival in America — he covers people like Jonathan Edwards, Charles Finney, Dwight Moody, and Billy Sunday. He also analyzes events like the First and Second Great Awakening, the Civil War Revivials, and the 1858 Prayer revival. In this short series, I will be discussing four of these people/events in American church history.Today, I will start in the 1700s with Jonathan Edwards. Edwards gives five criteria for analyzing and judging a revival. These criteria are still valid and extremely helpful for today. My hope is that through this series, you can more truthfully judge whether or not something is a movement of the Spirit of God or a movement of the whims of men. I hope you enjoy! In this episode, I talked with Leo Briceno. Leo is a reporter for WORLD News. We discussed the Jeffery Epstein story and Leo broke down the timeline of events from the Epstein case. In this episode I talked with Dr. Ian Duguid. Dr. Duguid is the Professor of Old Testament at Westminster Theological Seminary. He has planted churches in California, England, and Pennsylvania and received his PhD from the University of Cambridge. In our conversation we discussed his new book, Turning the World Upside Down: Lessons for the Church from Acts 1-8. We talked about how Christ built His church in the book of Acts and what we, in the modern world, should learn from Jesus’ disciples in the Apostolic Age. We also discussed the role the ethnic Jews play in the church and what our relationship to the Jews should be as Christians. Finally, we talked about the similarities between Judas, who sold Christ out for 30 pieces of silver, and you and I who often sell Him out for much less. I hope you enjoy! In this book Ben exposes the actual agenda of those in political power who claim to be “Pro-Life”.In our discussion we talked about the abortion abolitionist movement and what it stands for, why the Republicans in office across the country are consistently killing abolitionist proposals, and why the younger generations are ripe and ready to hear a clear proclamation of the Gospel. In this episode, I talked with Lucy Biggers. Lucy is a Social Media Editor at The Free Press and has written several articles for The Free Press. She was formerly a “climate change” activist and avid supporter of progressive politicians and ideology. In our conversation we discussed her upbringing, how she came to be a progressive, and her conversion to a more Conservative worldview. We talked about how she helped get Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez get elected and how she pushed the “climate change” narrative in The United States and abroad — even going as far as to interview Greta Thunberg. We discussed how she began to notice the logical cracks in her Marxist worldview and why she has just now started speaking up against liberal policy and ideology. In June she wrote an article for The Free Press called ‘I Helped AOC Win. I Understand the Fantasy Zohran Is Selling.’We talked about this article and how to change the minds of the upcoming generations who seem to be stuck in a progressive black hole. I hope you enjoy! In this episode I talked with WORLD News Reporter, Lauren Canterberry. We discussed her reporting related to the Mifepristone abortion tablets and her reporting on the SCOTUS ruling that Planned Parenthood cannot receive Medicaid funding in states like South Carolina that have outlawed federal money to be given to abortion clinics. This was a wide-ranging conversation and one that Christians should listen to. The abortion industry, as bad as it already is, is now targeting underage girls and mailing abortion pill across the country — even to people in states that have outlawed certain abortion pills and even the mailing of abortion pills. The issue of murdering babies is not a debatable issue or a grey issue for Christians, we must defend both the lives of unborn babies and the lives of mothers. Dr. Ahlquist is the co-founder of Chesterton Academy, the President of the Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton, and the creator and host of the EWTN series “G.K. Chesterton: The Apostle of Common Sense.” He is known as the world leading expert on G.K. Chesterton and is the author of the commentary on Chesterton’s book, The Everlasting Man.In our conversation we talked about how The Everlasting Man was the book that converted C.S. Lewis to Christianity, and why Lewis said that this book put forth the best explanation of Christianity that he had ever read. We discussed Chesterton’s intellectual ability despite his dropping out of college and never pursuing a higher education. Back in August of 2024, I interviewed Dr. Owen to discuss his book, The Ecology of Nations, and his political philosophy on foreign affairs. In this discussion we talk about the complex relationship between domestic politics and geopolitics, the tendencies of authoritarian governments, the flirtatious relationship between some right wing Republicans and authoritarian regimes, and the Iran/Israel 12 day war.
