Nothing I say here can really express what’s waiting for you inside this week’s episode. A chance to reflect on how far you’ve come. A huge decision I have made. (Ok, actually, there’s lots of decisions to share.) And how to decide if you’re coming with me. Get the full show notes and more information here: https://www.amylatta.com/216
2024 is just a stone’s throw away…what’s coming with you? What’s staying in 2023? This year was a hella crazy year for the coaching industry, and I don’t think anyone could have predicted any of it. And yet, there’s one conversation I had, first week of February, that felt revolutionary at the time, but not so much today. So I’m bringing that conversation back - my most listened to episode in 214 episodes - my first interview with Mark Butler. Whether you’ve never heard our conversation or you were one of the many that listened to it repeatedly. Think about your year. Listen to our conversation. And then decide…how you are disrupting your business? What’s staying in 2023? And what’s coming with you in 2024? Get the full show notes and more information here: https://www.amylatta.com/215
Just how related is diet culture and online business entrepreneur culture?  My guest Stephanie Dodier - host of the Undiet Your Coaching Practice Podcast and I dive into these cultures, how they’re similar, how they do damage to both the provider and the client, and what we can do about it. Plus, a conversation around the role of conformity and confidence that has never been discussed on this podcast that even blew my mind. This is one to savor. I won’t knock the fun of a new car, but let’s create a December to Remember without needing a Lexus wrapped in a giant red bow. It not have to involve a new car. It starts by considering the path of least resistance in your business. Questioning where growth is actually necessary and where it’s just exhausting. Remembering what’s super important every day, and what you can let go of. And finally, remember the back to the basics - having conversations. Plus, a challenge I’m offering to commit to have conversations every day in the month of December. This December, remember it as the month you let go of what you gotta do, and what you want instead. Are you pricing your coaching so people will like you; are you pricing your coaching to make as much money as possible on a short time? I have a better plan - price your coaching based on the income you want to live your life outside of your coaching business. In this week's episode, I break down the process of how we do this in the Elevate Your income marketing intensive. Plus discuss Price Pacing, charging for where you are in your business, with a pricing plan for the future. When it’s just not possible to “charge your worth,” because you simply infinitely valuable, this is the conversation that is actually helpful in how to price. Listen, your marketing strategy and content plan CAN look like a giant peg board in a conspiracist's basement - with pictures and arrows and string connecting one phenomena to another. In this week's episode, I give you the simplest way to create a marketing strategy and content plan, and including some Level One and Level Two options if you want to go deeper. You can send emails, make posts, run a Facebook group, meet people one on one. You can nail your messaging and establish why you and no one else. And yet those things on their own do not create clients for you. You are in a Dating Game, and you and I both know, going out to dinner and a movie alone doesn’t lead to marriage. This week, talk with me about how you meet people, where, how you’re gonna invite them to have the next conversation with you. This is your lead generation strategy, your funnel, your nurturing plan….their experience of you. From the time you meet, to saying Yes, to how you leave them better off no matter what. Whether you have ADHD or are just a coach who wants to be a more powerful coach….this week’s podcast episode delivers. I interviewed my ADHD coach, Megan Kierstead, and we not only deep dive into how the systems we’ve been asked to operate in aren’t built for us, but also how to create a more relaxed and better experience for ourselves, and our clients. This is the work that would have helped me as a new coach. This is the work that would have helped me as a new coach…with ADHD. Ever read a piece of writing and known who it is? That is messaging - your tone and vibe and the subject matter, and everything that says…this is who you are in the market. We’re diving into what your core messages are, based on who you are, your Bestest Clients, and how you help them in a way no one else does. This framework becomes the “what am I going to talk about” you need to always know what to talk about, and to talk about it…the way no one else does. It’s the same reason I write my own show notes now - because no one else can talk to you, quite the way I do. Let’s discover how you do the same. When someone says “oh, you just HAVE to read this book…” I always wonder…but do I? This week, a few members of the Play More Sell More free group have our first ever Book Club - where Opinions are WELCOME. No longer are we gonna assume all books are amazing, and actually get into the meet of these books and see if they hold up, if they’re full of helpful info, or harmful info, or…as I suspect….a lil’ of both. In this episode, we discuss The Prosperous Coach, one of the first books recommended to me when I started my coaching business. Can’t wait to see what YOUR opinion is! Do you have any idea what a reasonable amount of money is to start a coaching business? What about to keep one running? This was heavy on my mind as I created my brand-new program, Elevate Your Income, focused on turning revenue into actual income for you, the coach. So, who else but my former CFO Mark Butler to have back on to talk about what we should be spending our money on, but way more importantly, what we shouldn’t. This is the conversation I wish someone would have had with me, in earnest, when I was a new coach. Get the full show notes and more information here: https://www.amylatta.com/202

It’s the 80s and 90s and the Mall was KING - you’d roam the mall with your friends, and you were just sucked in by some stores and totally could care less about others. Why? You felt a certain way, they spoke to who you were and what you vibed with. This is what good messaging in your business does. In a super mall of coaches, what is your space versus other spaces? How would you dress your coaching room so that your bestest clients had no doubt…she is for me. You’ll know after listening to this episode. Listen, I do think it’s a bag o’ bones that so many coaches were sold on the dream of “come get certified and you’ll be making 100K your first year.” It’s not that the dream isn’t possible. It’s just that it’s so much more nuanced than that, and the nuance was thrown out like the baby with the bathwater. In this episode, I break down the truth of the “100K first year,” why it’s both possible and unrealistic, why you can celebrate it and 100 other versions of success, and what you can focus on instead right now, instead of continuing to flog yourself that you’re not there. If you want to wallow, this ain’t the episode for you. But if you want to reignite the possibility for yourself…I’m waiting for you inside. You can wait until everyone else assumes the best in you ... or you can do the only work that’s actually possible. Assuming the best in you. In this episode, I help you find where you are still assuming the worst in yourself, how you let go of that for others, so you can transfer that to yourself. You’ll know exactly what you’re expecting the worst of from yourself in your business, and make a plan now for when that happens. This one is short and sweet, with the exact call-out you need to hear. Get the full show notes and more information here: https://www.amylatta.com/197
