One of our favorite people, Adam’s Aunt Cindy, joins us to share the transformative story of her cancer journey. Cindy Polinsky is a retired union organizer and cancer survivor. She is the author of The Double Chai Cafe, a zine about her grief journey. Cindy’s mother died when she was 8 years old. She never dealt with her grief until she was diagnosed with life threatening cancer some 50 years later.
