Would you be on your high school’s All Time Team?
Would you be on your high school’s All Time Team?
On this episode, Kingtif invites his old high school football coach to discuss the topic of sacrifice, but before diving into this subject matter, they reflect on his high school days and the all-time greats the host had the opportunity to play with and who special guest coach Parker had the pleasure of coaching. Furthermore, the two break down "The List," one in which Coach Parker and his former teammates included the names of the best players from their high school’s All Time Team. This list was posted on social media, which in turn stirred up a bit of controversy regarding who was on the list and who wasn’t. Coach Parker did, in fact, admit to having potentially made some mistakes by leaving a few key players off of it, but both he and Kingtif debated how it is possible to end up on such a list, the meaning behind being on it, and how he created the list to catalyze a discussion. Now, of course Kingtif was a part of this list, but even he saw that a mistake or two had been made. They conclude the episode by refocusing on the topic of sacrifice and what that looks like to the both of them, and by discussing why it is so virtual to success and the types of sacrifices one needs to make in order to achieve it.
