Bridging the Gap Between Traditional Investing and Digital Assets.  www.cenaclecapital.com  In these latest episodes of The Blockchain Advisor™ we go back to our roots at the start of the modern-day derivatives market as we interview floor traders and brokers from Chicago Board Options Exchange. The start of the bull market in 1982 was a special moment in time we shared on the trading floor! The Crash of 1987 is an event that left an indelible mark on our psyche and taught us the meaning of tail risk as opening rotation volatility of options exceed 300%. In this time of high speed algorithmic trading, we can't forget the stories and  experiences of those who were the founding members of today's derivative market. Early members at the CBOE are passing away and we want to capture these memories. Closing rotation refers to the days on expiration Friday when a series of options were retired and the prices settled for the last time. The series will provide cryptocurrency and DeFi enthusiasts an opportunity to understand the foundational experiences beginning in the 1970’s where we did everything by open outcry, hand signals and paper trading cards. *********************************** Consider letting Cenacle Capital Management, LLC., find interesting investment ideas, juicy dividend income plays and other creative investment ideas. We're watching the market everyday! We believe pure, passive, mindless index investing has benefits, but it also means index investing offers no adult supervision as valuations can reach irrational heights. Tatyana Thurston, the CEO of DEXIT, discusses how her team can assist clients with the inventory of an online footprint. They consult with clients on the decisions to close, delete, transfer or memorialize digital accounts during the estate planning process.

Former public defender Erika Knierim shares her story from growing up in a small town with incredibly supportive parents. They encourage her to accept big challenges and not be afraid of failure. Her stoic German father, together with a passionate Columbian mother was the perfect combination to learn how to live with passion, embrace classical music fine arts, beat nerdy boys in Chess Club, all while wearing her cheerleader outfit. Erika worked her way through law school to become a public defender in Chicago for over a decade. Erika decided to make a leap of faith and brought her keen legal mind and experience to blockchain, securities regulation and the importance of having Adults in The Room (AITR) when raising capital and pitching deals. By sharing her experiences at the now bankrupt Celsius, and the attitude of Sam Bankman Fried of the FTX collapse, Erika is passionate about her mission as CEO and Co-Founder of Nomic Consulting.
Randy shares an interesting and colorful story from running away from home and taking a break from high school, to becoming one of the most important & influential traders at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. Randy speaks to us from a gorgeous Colorado backdrop where he uses typical floor trader language (some explicit language) when describing the Crash of 1987, to finally retiring from the business in 2012.

Do you wonder why it takes so long to be notified of a cybersecurity breach? How is it when we hear of cybersecurity breaches, a minimum of 3-4 months pass before the news is admitted publicly? Is this part of the due diligence process taken by an insurance company demanding the company not to discuss it? Is it a legal issue where attorneys are advising against a public announcement? Perhaps the FBI is trying to determine who the bad actors are? Is it an unwillingness by the company to disclose cybersecurity breaches because of how it might affect the bottom line? Charlie Stenger, CEO of GST Specialty, a cyber security insurance wholesaler shares his thoughts! Connect with Charlie on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/charliestenger/
In this episode we return from a long break from interviews. Today we chat with Miguel Kudry, co-founder of L1 Advisors. L1 Advisors has an exciting web-based platform for investment advisors to advise clients their "on-chain" cryptocurrency holdings. The biggest dilemma for advisors up until now was helping clients without taking custody, and billing on those assets held away. Now advisors can send a trade suggestions and the client accepts or denies the transaction. By accepting, the client signs and authorizes the trade with Metamask, Trezor, Ledger, or Wallet Connect. Listeners can even get a demo of the platform by watching this video podcast. Advisors have only "read-only" privileges. Investment advisors are going to love this episode!
Today we talk with Peter, The Ultimate Technician to discuss Value stocks versus Growth, and why growth and Technology ownership as an asset has become oversaturated. It's not demand which causes prices to move higher; but it’s higher prices that drive demand. We also talk about the recent divergence in Bitcoin vs. the market.  Cenacle Capital Management. I'm not sure if there has ever been such a liquidation of digital assets since the 2018 crypto winter. The liquidation punished many interesting and exciting projects. Here are some of the tokens listed on Coinbase. Is this panic selling? Year end profit taking? Is pending regulation going to suffocate our chance of being able to monetize the greatest technology innovation modern civilization has ever known? Far left=Deeply oversold w/ respect to its 10-week moving average. Vertical Line= 10 week moving average Despite the current "blood in the streets" technical position, of 200+ cryptocurrencies the average digital asset is +3,676.18% Year To Date.
