We’re in Exodus 21 and 22 today discussing some of the laws God gave to the nation of Israel on how to relate to one another. One of them relates to capitol punishment. You might be surprised to discover it goes back before the law was given, pointing out that life is to be valued.

We’re developing a study in Exodus right now, and just digging into the Ten Commandments. The first command is a command of exclusive worship, and has to do with the worship of false gods. We’re in the middle of a new study in Exodus, and today we make a return visit to chapter nineteen. Those of you into serious mountain climbing know it’s not easy. You train for it, have the right shoes and equipment. But imagine trying to climb a mountain with sandals on, and none of your climbing gear! That’s where we find Moses. He was willing to brave the climb because he desperately wanted to hear from God.

We’re in the middle of a new study in Exodus, and today we get back to chapter nineteen. On their way to the Promised Land, the children of Israel had a few stops. And God had some lessons for them along the way. It’s a reminder to us that God is always preparing us for what He has prepared for us!
