I am so excited to have Joy on the podcast today. Joy want people to feel empowered to determine their own health, fitness and way of life. She believes that any physical achievement is possible no matter where you live or what your beginning fitness level is. Joy is admired for her down to earth Aussie style and recognised nationally for her ability to provide simple solutions for health and fitness for those who don’t have access to gyms, high tech equipment or personal trainers. She believes you can do exercise where ever you are with what ever is available, that may be a rock or it could even be a bag of dog food.
I hope you enjoyed this episode

Kicking off the new year with a few podcast episodes all about how to achieve your goals for 2021. Julie is one amazing lady, I first heard Julie speak at a conference all about how to be a Productivity Ninja but more recently I have been lucky enough to be in a business mentoring group with Julie and have seen how much knowledge she has to share in many aspects. I started vision boarding probably 3 years ago and they have really helped me with my business planning and goal setting and since Julie is a guru at this I thought it was a great opportunity to share more of her knowledge with my community.
Julie is launching her Ocean Flow Program in March and it is going to be something you don't want to miss.

For someone who doesn't have kids or have breast fed I loved this episode with lactation consultant Caroline Maxwell. I learnt so much from her and I believe everyone who is thinking of trying to conceive, or who is pregnant or a new Mum struggling to breast feed should give todays episode a listen to and learn more about breast feeding, what a lactation consultant does and how they may be able to help you.

With many states coming out of lockdowns straight into a busy time of year we have gone from zero to one hundred in a very short time. I think we need to be reflecting on our values and saying no more to prevent burn out. I am excited to have Tracy on todays episode talk more about burnout and how we can live a life in more alignment to our values, purpose and what brings us happiness.

In today’s episode I chat with Camilla from Tractor snacks. It’s one of my favourite episodes to date discussing how we can make delicious and healthy meals that can be eaten on the tractor and header. It’s a perfect time to think about tractor meals with harvest just around the corner.
Edwina is the founder and CEO (Chief.Everything.Officer) of Birth Beat. Ed has over 14 years experience as a midwife, neonatal intensive care nurse and emergency nurse. She’s delivered 100’s of babies and helped 1000’s of parents prepare for their best birth. She’s a proud mum of two and turns to mush in the presence of a baby.
Understanding the link between education and positive birth outcomes, Ed wanted to provide more education options in her hometown of Tamworth. So, she created the very first face-to-face Birth Beat class in 2012. Which she held in a loungeroom!

Brooke’s passion for feeling healthy and happy and her positive outlook on life was the driver behind creating BeWell. Brooke is a qualified Yoga teacher, qualified reiki master as well as having a diploma in Nutrition. Brooke was raised in the country on her family farm and continues to live and breathe in the country each day. You can tell Im a little excited when I am talking to Bianca from Our Cow. I love farming businesses who support other farmers but also creating a product that is beneficial for our health.
Bianca and her partner David founded Our Cow in 2019 after facing some tough times in the first two years of buying their farm. They faced a series of fires, floods and devastating droughts. It was during these challenging times, their idea of Our Cow came to life. Realising how widespread and strong the support for farmers and the rural community was, it was here the idea for Our Cow begun. It was their vision to create a connection between farmers & the people who purchase their food. This is the driving force and inspiration of Our Cow from its early beginnings to today.

Mental Health is a problematic issue around the world that until recently has often been ignored. Ben Brooksby is the founder of The Naked Farmer, a social media movement aiming to break down the difficult conversational barriers that often lay in front of people struggling to speak up on whats going on inside. By using the liberating combination of nudity and farm work, the Naked Farmer is starting conversations about mental health across Australia because at the end of the day it’s easier to talk about what’s inside once someone has bared everything on the outside.
But Ben is has also suffered from his own battles with mental health. He also knows first hand the struggles associated with busy periods on the farm in particular harvest. I thought he would be the best person to reach out to and have him share his story and what has helped him overcome his battle with mental health. But his knowledge and first hand experience of surviving through the harvest season he has some incredible tips and advice for us all.
He didn't mention in the interview but he has also just released a book, so please make sure you had over and check that out too!
