What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with Marc's pick for our birthday month, It from 1990! We both just finished reading the book for the first time about a month ago so we figured it would be a good time to do a compare and contrast type episode. We ended up accidentally comparing to the remakes as well and seeing how each version held up to the book. Which version of It is your favourite? Are you pro-Curry or pro-Skarsgard for Pennywise? What's up Dream Warriors! It's March, so that means it's our birthday month and we've decided to do things a little bit differently for this month. We both picked a show/miniseries for each on of our episodes; with Brooke's pick being Season 1 of Black Mirror. This is also a special episode for us because it's our 200th episode! What's up Dream Warriors! We're back this week to finish off our first Villain Faceoff of 2024 and in this "thrilling" conclusion we're talking about Brooke's pick of M from 1931. This wasn't necessarily a fair matchup but we can both agree that this movie is a damn near masterpiece and deserves to be talked about regardless!  For the remainder of March (our birthday month) we will be doing things a little different and we'll be tackling a couple of TV shows/miniseries. First up will be Brooke's birthday pick of Season 1 of Black Mirror!

What's up Dream Warriors! We're here with Marc's pick of the month and a rather unconventional pick for a horror podcast, but our antagonist is terrifying! We are talking about the 2007 Coen Brothers directed No Country for Old Men! Javier Bardem created one of the most accurate and scary psychopaths in cinema history (seriously, it's been proven by science!) in this one and we both agree he deserves every award he received for this role! What's up Dream Warriors! We're back with Marc's first pick of 2024 and this one is a trip down Nostalgia Lane for any 90's kids. In the midst of all the 90's teen slashers and whodunit's there was one movie that kept a simular formula but also went it's own way and that movie is none other than The Faculty. It still feels like the most popular horror movies from the 90's, but there's one small difference...aliens. We had a blast talking about this one even though it doesn't necessarily hold up as well as some of the movies it rivaled 25 years ago. What's up Dream Warriors! It's our first episode of 2024 and Brooke had the honours of choosing our first movie. This week he went deep in the vault of indie horror movies and pulled out The Battery from 2012. This was a movie with a $6000 budget and really had Marc questioning if it could be worth 100 minute run time. Well, spoiler alert...it was! This is an underrated gem of a zombie flick and we personally feel like it deserves a lot more attention than it gets! We went on quite the ride trying to figure out all of the meanings in this movie and make sense of the ending and there's a slight chance we did finally grasp it, at least a little bit...
